If you don't own a PS3 and you have an HD player it is probably HD-DVD. Since you're never sure from one week to another which movie studios are going to support your format, you've got to get them while they're hot. With the deals of "Black Friday" approaching HD might be high on your holiday list. If you're one of those "I have to be the first one on my block" kind of guys then I have some good news for you, new releases. There are less to choose from than Blu Ray this week, but that makes it easier to decide what you want. It's also a little easier on the wallet.
With out further delay, you HD-DVD releases for November 20th, 2007:
Mendelssohn: A Midsummer Night's Dream - Instead of getting dressed up and going to the ballet you can watch it on your HDTV at home in a wife beater, eating Cheeto's. Ah YEAH!
Star Trek: The Original Series - The Complete First Season - Bad...acting..won't...stop...Trekkies... from buying this for the third time (VHS, DVD, HD).
Tremors - Graboid's and Kevin Bacon prove what happens when you decide to leave your small town just one damn day too late.
I'm calling Star Trek the big seller of this group, those Trekkies will buy anything. From action figures to William Shatner's spoken word albums, they've got to have it. Enjoy "Black Friday" and the madness that will ensue over these hot titles, or be smart and get them off this crazy thing we call the Internet or set your phasers to stun.
