Stormx2233 04-19-2009, 05:26 AM ~Hi there,, is your 360 on its side or flat?

Its on its side, yeah!
OkayOctane 04-19-2009, 06:12 AM Does it happen every time?
Darksied93 04-19-2009, 08:10 AM Try putting it flat. I honestly don't recommend to anyone to have their 360 vertical unless you don't have room or something.

Its horizontal!
Darksied93 04-19-2009, 10:36 AM You posted that it was on it's side. Well, if it is already flat, I don't know what to tell you.

Yes (Cool picture by the way:w00t:)
Stormx2233 04-19-2009, 11:27 AM It normaly happens because the person has the 360 on its side. But you say yours is flat. Um I would say when you go to finish a game go to the dashboard, that way the game will stop in the drive, and then you can eject it. that way it wont scratch.

Stormx2233 04-20-2009, 07:54 AM Then Im out of ideas,, that what my old xbox used to do, and thats how I stopped it.. But then I went out and got another one...
If I was you if its still under a year old, take it back,, tell them whats wrong,, and they should change it for a new one. If you can take it back to GAME.

Its quite over a year!
Stormx2233 04-20-2009, 12:35 PM Still,,, some GAME stores, will still take it back if you ring up and ask to speak to the manager.. I have taken my one back twice now,, and both times then 360 was over a year old.
SilverCaboose 04-20-2009, 02:51 PM I had a friend who's xbox did the same thing, but unfortunately there was no resolve to the issue. He just takes it out as soon as it opens so it doesn't scratch as much. Then about a month ago the cd drive just died all together
photomaster94 04-20-2009, 04:02 PM the problem is it held together by glue

Sudzy1225 04-21-2009, 09:30 AM put it on its side then the disc will fall out if it is spinning
xIFighter1 04-21-2009, 11:17 AM ^^^^^^
I say that.
Or you could replace the DVD drive? Though it will mean voiding your warranty..

Yes, but it might not be under warranty anymore. How long is the warranty, a year or something?

Looks like you'll have to buy a new one dude :undecided:
MacDiesel37 04-27-2009, 08:39 AM dude you may just need to give it a second for it to stop spinning before you pop out your game and put in a new one. I might also suggest turning your xbox off and restarting it, just so you know that the game isn't still spinning.
TheDrunkenCrab 04-27-2009, 08:58 AM I thought that the warrety was now 3 yrs because of the RROD?
