I was browsing Gamespot to come across some very saddening (but it makes sense) news.

Unfortunately, Ubisoft also had some bad news for PS3 owners. The Free Radical-developed shooter Haze, which had been one of the few high-profile exclusives for Sony's console this holiday season, has been pushed back to the January-March quarter of 2008.

I was looking foward to haze i think it looks great lets hope when it is released the game is as good as it can be.

until free radical themselves say that haze is delayed, then I'm still banking on december as the release date

Why do you think its run og the mill? it has excellent story, mindblowing enviroments and the gameplay and graphics to par with Halo 3.
By my standards this is a pretty much AAA title:D

I cant believe Haze is delayed. That's honestly ridiculous. That game looks truly amazing, I love all games Free Radical makes. :D

There was once, but now it's in hiatus. Beyond that, their is no current videos/news of Haze coming to the XBox 360. From what I could tell, it was simply dropped.

I think thats it. The PS3 has lost the holiday season aging. Not say Uncharted or Ratchet are bad game but they lost to many exclusives this season that are being delayed till 08.

You're right about that. PS3 is going to be huge in '08. The way it's literally outselling the Wii in Japan for the last 3 weeks in a row must mean something as well. What though, I have no idea.

I don't think the ps3 will be big in early 08. Many things coming out are delayed games that are already on other consoles. Late 08 may be ps3's rise, but I think the wii will alway's have larger sales in America due to the number of old ladies and little kids (casual gamers) in America. There have been way too many ps3 games that have been delayed. Sony should try to pull it together or their new console might fall out from under them, leaving them with a tainted reputation.

Combination of acceptable price point, good library of games, and the Wii failing to develop worthwhile software.

Any update on Haze's new release date?
I mean a confirmed date yet?:confused:
