Great episode guys.
Maybe there should be another rating. Something in between Teen and Mature, Mature Teen(15), maybe?

I can't say I enjoyed kojin singing, but I think it would have been better with some music in the background.
The 30 second depate was a fail. I would have preferred something else, like "Why Jack Thompson fails" or "Lono leaving"...

Keep up the good work!

Yeah, it has been a long time since I've actually sung and I've gotten really bad during that lapse in time... sorry to subjugate your ears to that!

I also apologize about the fail which was the 30-seconds of debate. Me and OMG obviously didn't prepare enough for our second show. We'll do our best not to make the same mistake again!

PikminGuts92, thank you so much for your comments and critiques. You help make us better!

Remember everyone, me and OMG are totally new to hosting a podcast, so any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!

PS. Pikmin, how did you acquire the podcast? When I downloaded it off of iTunes, I got the Walla Walla podcast labeled as Gamer Academia.

Too bad I also have a face for radio. ;)

Yeah, I messed up when I told you about the settings, but I think I have it figured out now. That's the problem with trying to explain something and not being able to see it. We'll get it fixed for episode 3.

I have this problem too, same with Panda Watch Musical Part 2... Dave, if it's you who does these (pretty sure it is), this needs fixing!

I have not heard the first Academia, and I must admit I was skeptical at first, but once you got into "the meat of the show" as one of you called it...I decided that you can't beat the meat of this show! :D Good job, guys!

Sorry bro, show has been recorded but it was really really long, so I haven't gotten a chance to finish editing. I'll try and get that wrapped up soon.

Thanks for your support! :)

I enjoy your guy's show as well, as I find the intelligent banter between the two of you is unique and sets you guys apart from most gaming podcasts.

Looking forward to the next podcast and I hope you can take some time to listen to the Red Button podcast as we REALLY need feedback and advice.

Keep up the good work you two!

Hey guys-

It's not lightly that I do this, but I feel that it's time for me to step down as co-host and editor of Gamer Academia. I sent an e-mail to Kojin a few minutes ago explaining my decision, here's an excerpt-

I'm starting to think that I might not be the best co-host for the Gamer Academia podcast because of my schedule. When we started I had a lot of extra time, but work has been crazy lately not to mention that my "free time" is very limited. Also, editing is problematic because I drive a motorcycle to work (my Jeep is still not street legal) so I usually leave my equipment there. Taking it home on the weekends is normal, but that means that when I do have a minute I could work on editing, I don't have equipment there. Weekends have been crazy as well. I'm lucky to even get an article written every other weekend now, because there's so much I have to do on weekends that doesn't get done during the week (like cleaning house, grocery shopping, vehicle maintenance, all that "fun" stuff).

It's not really fair to you to keep putting things off. Like I said, at the time we started there was plenty of time but it seems like in June everything just went nuts. I'm thinking you're better off finding another host that can commit more time to the project and can help with editing. I had a lot of fun working with you and hope you can keep things up with the show, and I wish I had more time to help out, but I simply don't and it sucks.

I apologize to everyone out there for letting you all down, especially Kojin. I really wish him the best of luck. I've let him know that I'll try to edit episode 3 as soon as I can, but I have house guests coming in from out of town this weekend who are staying through Sunday night, so sitting down with headphones for a few hours and ignoring them isn't really an option.

All I can say is that I hope everyone understands where I'm coming from. I'd love to keep going but other commitments like work and family have to take precedence.

Best wishes to the show in the future and to everyone,
OldMarriedGamer aka OMG

I'm sad to see you go and I hope Kojin can find another host of the same caliber.

I really enjoyed your podcast while it lasted, and good luck to everything you do in the future!
