So this thread and poll is meant to gauge the communities thoughts on the community podcasts over all.

It is not meant to be a thread to single out any podcast as the "best" or "worst" but rather to talk about the community podcasts as a whole.

I know that some are better than others, and receive more listeners than others, but I see an overall disinterest in the community podcasts.

I could be wrong though! Your thoughts?

Listen to every new one, and downloaded MP3s recently for certain parts and the whole podcast since it all mucked up (I Blame Doc?) on iTunes

I picked "Yes, but I don't post comments" and "Yes, I listen to all of them."

I have the iTunes feed automatically download all of the podcasts and I listen to them when I'm commuting in my car, but I never post comments about the podcasts, even the main ones.

No, I hate them with a vengeance. Now, don't bother me. I have to record a community podcast.

I enjoy a select few community casts (the good ones). On occasion I will post a little bit in the forums.

As a community podcaster myself (Casual Core) I do listen to the community podcasts, but I chose "Yes, and I post on the forums" and "yes, but I only listen to a select few" because I'll listen to the podcasts and if they aren't that good I'll post on the forums and try to help them make it better, then I listen to their next episode and if I don't like it again I wait a few episodes and listen again. It goes on like that. I feel that if I don't give their podcast a chance how can I expect them to give mine a chance.

There are a select few I do listen to though. I listen to Talkingship, Livecast, Pandawatch, and resonator (sometimes I'm too lazy and by the time I look back at it the next episode came out =|)).

No. I hardly have enough time to listen to ANY podcast these days. A 30 minute show takes me pretty much all day on and off.

I lsiten to all SGCPs when they come out, but if I don't like them or they don't intrest me I'll just not listen to them.

I still listen to about five and that takes up a bit more time than I have these days so I doubt i'll try and fit any more in...

this is an interesting topic b-cuz i dont listen to any- (to be honest, some just bore be to death aside the from crappy mic's) and there's only one one funny one that i would seriously subscribe to, but i uno the name... it's when ppl get a bunch of random words and puttem' in a sentence.. whats that p-cast called?

I download them all and listen to them randomly... but the better ones I listen to first

I echo what DD said - we really like it when people leave us feedback for our 'casts. If you don't want to listen to my podcast, that's fine. I'm not hurt. Something other than "it sucks" would be nice, though. :thumbsup:

Some of the podcasts do much more than just talk about games. Not trying to pimp Panda Watch, but most of our podcast is just us doing funny interviews, songs, etc...check out the musical. You'll see :grin:


On a different note. I'm really frustrated that the itunes/zune feed is still broken on the second part of the musical. We spent a long time on that and now it's kinda falling on deaf ears because of a technical mishap...no...TWO technical mishaps. Just venting

Ok you go back to first grade and learn how to write, then I might take that comment seriously.

It does mean a great deal to us when you post comments on our shows. I mean I'm always trying to make my show better so I could use constructive criticism.

I don't even get you suck. Just nothing. People barely post on my thread :sad:. Then all post on pandawatch, Talkingship, and resonator:angry:. :tongue: I guess I can't expect any less from the 3 best shows.

I used to. I get too busy and couldnt keep up. And to be truthful, some of them bored me. I will prolly start listening to them again this summer.

I hope I'm not in the hater group. Talkingship is just not my thing. I think a lot of people don't comment with "constructive criticism" becuase the simple fact is, you have a sucessful podcast and we don't. I don't feel comfortable saying "here is what you need to do" becuase who am I? just a guy.

If you guys were struggling and no one liked you then I would say "Hey, how about trying this out". But you guys have a TON of fans.

When I say "I like them all....except talkingship", I'm mostly just playing around.
