Ok about 2 months ago i got the RRoD. Then a month ago i got one shipped back to me. NOW the one they shipped to me just randomly stopped reading discs when i went to play today. I have to ship it back in and wait another month to get it back. The thing that bothers me most was that yesterday it was working fine. Why would it suddenly stop? I don't know, i never hit my 360 or anything. I try to make expensive things last as long as they can, so i am very careful with what i do. Oh well, i guess this will be a good time for me to turn my SNES on and go for a little Nostalgia ride.

The towel trick worked for me for three days. My Xbox 360 died right when Halo 3 came out but I did the towel trick and finished the campaign before it went down again. I then mailed it in and got it back in 3 weeks.

I got my refurb back in September after a GPU failure and the one they sent me I have to tap the disc tray to open it if there's no disc inside. I had to "persuade" them that I shouldn't have to be given items like this. I have another repair in their system that should take a week or two to process and I'll have my coffin away before the holidays. When they ship the thing back in 2008 it had better be a new system. My warranty will be out by then so all I'll have for coverage is the RRoD.

Last night I dreamed about the PS3.

Ok, i got the box Monday and sent it in Monday. I got it back Wednesday. All i have to say is "WOW!" I am very pleased with Microsoft on this one. So, they get a bit of my respect back.
