Pretty sure I'm in the minority here, but I'm really looking forward to getting it (I think my lady is getting me it for my Xmas). Ive not played a lightgun game since the Dreamcast, but I reallllly love them. FPS mode sounds silly and its getting... not great reviews, but if its people running around onscreen and I get to shoot them I'll be a happy chappy!

Question though, does anyone know if the Guncon3 is compatible with PS2/1 games? Id love to play Point Blank again and theres a load of PS2 shooters I missed but Id rather not have to buy another light gun for them.

Yeah, TC4 is a rent for me. Or go to friend and play.

It looks pretty fun, but...From the pictures I've seen it looks bland and shiny, like the grit of realism was taken out for a more "glossy" looking game. I think it'll be a good game though with two people gunning their way through it.

For PS3, the graphics looks hit, lets not beat around the bush ;) The videos on PSN are also fecking horrible.... but I still want to shoot stuff!

Also, after searching some more I've found that the new guncon dosnt work with PS2 games. They say its because it uses different tech (sensors as opposed to targeting the TV) but thats bull. The PS2 already has a sensor based gun for HDTVs so its nothing to do with that.

I was looking forward to this... But the price is a little high and reviews are a little low...

I am not sure if guncon 3 works with ps1 or ps2 games i think it probably will not work.
And i agree point blank was loads of fun i would love to play it again with the new guncon.

Ive heard the new method of IR sensors isnt working to well. :(

It was rather selfish of TV manafacturers to created LCD screens without thinking about the light gun industry.... :p
