I need some help with my internet connection, i live in wales in the uk and im with BT, and the problem is that im meant to have high-speed broadband and wireless on my laptop, now, i cant get the wireless to stay connected for more than 10 minutes and my connection cuts out approx every 15mins when im only on my computer, and if im on my xbox and have left my computer on to download the awsome sg podcasts i get disconnected almost every 2 minutes. So this is a pile of bs in my opinion, so any idea's on how to fix this bs connection. I have two routers (one bt and one random belkin one) and they both have the same problem, i think i have 3 phone connection things in my house and i have replaced the micro philters several times and got people in to try and sort out the connection, also my connection cuts out whenever i answer/put down/ring out on my house phone.

I understand i may be just be a complete tech idiot and thers probably a very simple solution, please dont just comment saying "hey idiot, why dont you just ring tech support, idiot" ive tried to ring the bs tech support bt has but you get the same response every time from some indian women who can barely speak english and cant understand you wich is "Have you check microfilter?"

My connection seems realy s***** tonight and have lost connection 4 times while writing this

I'm in the SOuth-West of England with BT and mine is working fine (BTHomeHub2 if that means anything).

It was iffy earlier though, it does have times where it goes odd

i have bt and it has cut out many times for me. the solution? wait. it will fix itself, you just have to give it some patience.

That's the best advice you'll get. Don't mess with the wires unless you know what you're doing

My connection always cuts out. What I do is left click on the little wireless connection symbol in the bottom left corner and click "repair".
