Weeell im a proud PS3 owner, but i live in England, so for some reason we get games years after everyone else...no idea why. Anyways, seems America are getting it this December, whereas i have to wait, what, like 2-3 months, no wai!

On to my point, i was told by a mate of mine that the 60 gig PS3's like mine are actually Region Free, and i could therefore buy an American game and play it fully with no problems on my Playstation. Is this true? As i really, really can't be bothered to wait ages AGAIN for a game which wont obviously change the language, or anything like that sooo...why?

So if anyone could let me know if this is true or false, that would be great, as i could import me an American Version, which would be mint!

Oh and if anyone here is on the Eu network add me: PopTrogdor

Cheers!

All PS3's are region free when it comes to games I believe... It's blu-rays that are region coded. So make sure you buy your region's blu-rays if you have an English PS3

The game looks awesome, easily rivaling what's on the PC.

If I remember rightly from what Rothbart told me a while back in a past thread.
The game's arent region coded neither are the consoles.
It's just the movies which are coded. (regions = 1 america, japan, - 2 , europe, africa
3- majority of asia and russia)

its something like that anyway.

Feel free to correct me. :)

The PC version will be better due to the fact it will be able to handle more people in online. The graphics will also be better.

But how much are you going to have to pay to get the graphics noticeably better than the PS3 version?

That is correct, but it extends to PS1/PS2 games as well... the PS3 respects their regions.

Take that crap and keep it in the PC forums, this is the Playstation 3 forum, just look up a little and you'll see. There's always one in the bunch...
