So I spent almost my entire Saturday day going from the very start of Gears Of War to the closing credits with my mate on Live Co-op, and it was an absolute riot - it's my first experience of playing through a single player narrative with a mate online and I'm hooked. I know of Halo Jesus and it's Co-op mode, but are there any other mentionables out there????

Army Of Two.
the game comes out around Febuary next year I think it is,
That game looks like a bloody laugh.
Download some trailers of it from the marketplace, Or look on Youtube,
There's Kayne And Lynch. Which came out the other day. (I think)
The game is based around co-op again. BUT the co-op is only local play. (The same xbox)
But it still looks like a hell of a lot of fun.
Guitar Hero III - considering you and your mate are willing to splash out 70 quid each, That game is fun. Doing co-op with a friend over line or seeing who's better in the face off mode.
Halo Jesus, the co op in this is great fun due to you can have 3 other people,
rock Band - Another music based game, But this game is big money, So you've gotta have 3 other friends willing to pay.
Hope this helps. :D

so you're saying - right now, my only other option is to fork out 70 quid on a guitar to do some online co-op? woah i was hoping there'd be some back catalogue of classic co-ops. Ah well.
But Kane and Lynch? My mate said its the most annoying game of all time. And the demo didn't impress me at all. Shame, the idea's sound.

The original Halo as cliched as it is cannot be fogotten :D
Timesplitters 2 was also great fun. have fond memories of Lego Rock Raiders co-op with my bro on Psone.
Not to mention this spiderman game on the snes. I cant remember the name but you played through the streets and it was a 2D side scroller beat-em-up. One played as Spidy and the other as Venom. Good timessss
EDIT: They are mentionable but perhaps, not quite this gen. As far as this gen goes I would say Vegas is a good one, as is a lot of the Clancy games.

Yeah I do COD4, just wish we could do the campaign too. To be fair the multiplayer is already so advanced i guess its not the end of the world.
