The new intro made me lol. I liked it. Though the GCN announcer needs to go... it sounds so dull when it jumps to that. I know you don't have control over that... but seriously... they need a more interesting guy to do that part.

Bah, who needs petty fighting over what's basically a glorified advertisement (though it did get me to listen to various GCN podcasts >.>), or intros? There were enough of the ROOMAHS to float a battleship! Made me a very happy monk.

I'm sure Microsoft wouldn't mind the PlayStation 3 getting The Lost and Damnded content. There lawyers will be more than happy to knock on Rockstar's door with there exclusive contract in one hand & there other hand singling to pay up.

I would love a new Twisted Metal game. It's one my of my favorite franchises. Part 2 for the PS1 still remains the best in my opinion.

I am sad to say, after going ALL WEEK without any SG podcasts, that was boring. There was like, 15 minutes of ROOMAS and I actually fell asleep (partly because it was midnight). No disrespect to the Blu show, but I expected more.

More what? I only ask because gaming "news" was virtually non-existent this week, everybody's holding their cards until E3. Roomahs on the other hand, are everywhere.

I don't expect anything different next week (although we should know more about what Kojima's planning...)

New Twisted metal would be pretty tight. I played TM 3 on the PS1 and loved it even though I sucked at it. :P

I do not understand why people are still going on about cross game chat. We will be hearing about that for every new update rumor. The PSN works very different than XBL. On the PSN you game via client-server where you connect completely to a server contracted by the game's publisher. All game data flows through and is based on the server. While playing on a game server, the PS3 talks to the PSN(mainly status checks) here and there. It is kind of hard to stream audio between multiple people all connected to different servers. XBL on the other hand you are fully connected to XBL the whole time. Games aren't run on the LIVE servers, but on the gamers. It uses PvP, with game data just being shared between the users. Since users are always connected to the same server it is easy to chat regardless of what you are doing. Same goes for the party system. The solution to this is going to be big and expensive.

The release of the cross game text is a sign that it is not coming soon. Why would Sony put money into developing something that will be replaced shortly there after? This does not make sense. Why would a Wookie live on Endore? You mention in game voice chat within a single game. While that is both possible and fairly useful, releasing that now could do more harm than good. It isn't big enough to stand on it's own. It will just get more anger thrown at them. If everyone is demanding cell phones, don't hand them walkie talkies.

I would rather see a longer list of smaller more functional features.

XMB display options. ex. along the bottom, in a wheel on the side, or maybe let us create a sub bar, and put up to 3 options in the main bar.

Add in game Tweets. It shouldn't be any more tasking than sending a message. I know you guys hit on this, but I wanted to emphasize the "in game" part. This wouldn't require the browser.

Allow for more characters in the subject box on messages. Most of the messages I get are just subjects. Give us more of the feature that we actually use.

Do whatever it takes to make friend's lists and profiles load INSTANTLY. auto syncing of trophies. Bring the profile out more. If gamers see it automatically all the time, then they will care about it more, want to improve it more, and that will lead to more game purchases.

Also bring out the store more. Add a news section to the store that includes all coming/recent releases. Possibly some review excerpts for big games. Inform the consumer, put it in front of them, and they will buy it.

Perhaps calling up Apple and asking for help would be good. MS has been copying Apple for years, and they wouldn't be where they are today without doing so. Getting direct help from the source would be even better.

The latest show was offensive, digusting, off-topic... and one of the best shows of all time! Seriously, you guys were hilarious. It made traffic on the 405 slightly more bearable today.

Chubb, good list of ideas. I'd love to have the ability to buy specific things for people instead of just credit to the store. For example, it would be so cool for one of my friends to get a message saying, "Dancerboy just sent you Patapon 2" with a link they could click to initiate the download. (OK, not Patapon, though... PacMan cured me of ever wanting that game.)

If I were to mention this to Sony, they'd say "Hey, go pick up a keyboard for your DualShock 3... there are shortcut keys that take you right to messages and your friends list" But yeah, I like your idea. I'm also reminded of certain homebrew for the original Xbox that would auto-boot into a program of your choice when you boot up holding a certain button. Shortcuts are great for power-users and largely ignorable to others. I'd LOVE to see a few user-configurable shortcuts... that's a great idea.

I bet this is in the works. I mean honestly... the shortlist of "social networking" web apps would include Twitter if you ask most people. I bet we see a (probably ultimately annoying) Twitter subroutine added to the SDK so game developers can include optional Tweets when in-game things happen. I wouldn't be surprised to see Twitter support when trophies are earned.

Seriously, welcome to April/May. There's nothing to talk about. Last year, all of the April Podcasts and the first two May Podcasts for the Red Show were all GTA4 and Rumors. Why? There's nothing to talk about for consoles. PC games are coming out left and right, but it isn't SG's specialty to report on them.

I even found that interesting. And no, I dont have any tips, but im not in the gaming industry. Its not my job.

Dave- Great intro but is there anyway of making the sound level for all the shows the same. The reason I ask is because the Pink show last week was really soft so I had to max out the volume just to hear it. When it moved onto the Blue show it nearly busted my eardrums it was so loud.

Invest in a Tuba. Everything is better with a Tuba. Just look at banda. Just think how well PS3's would sell if they came with a free Tuba. Shipping would be a bitch though.
