In a game, what's your order of importance?

Mine is Gameplay>Graphics>Online.
Gameplay of course is a must. If it don't play well, why play it?
Graphics are also good. If I can't even look at the game then something's wrong.
Online adds a lot of replayability. But sometimes it takes away from graphics or gameplay.

Agreed! Gameplay is a first. If it doesn't intrest me, play good or have a good story. Then it's not worth getting for me. Then Graphics. Even if a game doesn't look good it, it all comes down to Gameplay. If a game has a good Story/Gameplay, but the Graphics aren't the best, it is still a buy for me ! But looking good is a strong second. Last is Online play. I don't buy a game because of Online play. To me it's a added bonus. And like said above. Sometimes games focus on the Online play too much. Thus it takes away from both the story and the Graphics.

Gameplay, Graphics, Online. Don't play hardly anything online, and I don't care if the graphics aren't top-notch. If the game looks like total garbage, though, I'll steer clear. I still want it to look nice! :D

My order is Gameplay>Online>Graphics.
Gameplay is the most important thing as it's what makes or breaks the game. Online is the next most important as it adds tons of replayability when done well. Graphics aren't important me as the current generation of consoles generally have a good base standard that's good enough for me.

I love a lot of games with horrible graphics, and a lot of games with no online, and some with both. Online seems a better option of the 2.

There are only a few games I'll play online, and I get far more into a deep single player campaign than most online games.

Graphics aren't really that important to me, I don't care if the game looks like crap as long as it has great gameplay.

Interesting topic. Gameplay > Graphics > Online, for sure, for the same reasons mentioned above. I'd play more Wii games if the gameplay was more fun.

Of course:

Gameplay > Online > Graphics, however i'm not going to pretend graphics are not important. If a game looks like crap, i'm not going to play it for very long, or it may not even catch my attention.

Though, i'm not asking for a killzone 2 on every game i play, just an average looking game by todays standards is good enough.

tbh im with you mate, i'm not really into multiplayer, i might sit there for a while and do it, but i just cant get into it. Now single player games i LOVE. So more of that please.

Obviously a game has to be fun to play, so if it looks beautiful but its a shit game then theres no point to all that beauty really

Whilst graphics are important factor for me, you cant beat good gameplay. It's why I still play Diablo 2, Dungeon Keeper 2 and Football Manager 2006, the graphics may be poor and outdated but the gameplay more than make for that. And I'm not much of an Online player tbh.

For me its gameplay > online > graphics. I don't care about graphics at all. Id much rather have better gameplay. And IMO if you believe that graphics the important at all then your not a real gamer

If a game has good gameplay then it probably has bearable graphics. As long as I can have fun in the game without having many issues I don't mind if the graphics aren't great.
