The motion camera for 360 exists; rumour mills around the world rejoice. Nintendo, perhaps be worried!
Codenamed Project Natal, the camera revolves around using your entire body to dictate game actions (using your hand as a buzzer, your whole body to kick things around) or even to operate the NXE Dashboard in its entirety.
It can recognise your face and your voice to log you into your 360 Profile automatically, capture objects such as skateboards to reate decals andall sorts. Too much for this blogger to follow at the moment.
Peter Molyneux demonstrated a CG child called Milo, who could apparently interact with you though voice and facial expression. According to Molyneux, those who interacted with Milo felt totally immersive. Cynicism please. But that’s for another time.
It all looked super slick - video later - but I wonder how that can last. We’ll see soon enough, when it launches in future.
