Quick tidbit from the Konami conference: Metal Gear Solid Rising is officially multiplatform, as the E3 rumor mills dictated a day or so ago. As with the Metal Gear titles of old this will be a “stealth espionage action” title.
If that’s the case, why was the “Tactical Espionage Action” monicker dropped in favour of “Lightning Bolt Action”? Just to make some sort of reference to Raiden, a Japanese mythological god of thunder and lightning? Seriously?
If that’s the case, we can assume that “Solid Snake” is Japanese for “Tactical Espionage”, or something.
But yes. To get back to the point before: Metal Gear Solid Rising is multiplatform across PS3, 360 and PC, will star Raiden, and is being developed by Kojima Productions’ new blood.
…so what’s the more experienced team working on then?
