wow. Umm... this video didn't even comment on anything. It didn't talk about why the Playstation is better or why the 360 sucks. Unless you count the list of games coming out for the playstation... and really thats like saying a system rocks because it has first party games... uhhh... yeah. It was kind of lame. No where near sarcastic gamer quality.

No, it did not pretty much suck. It totally and completely sucked. I'm 32 and have seen a lot of crappy videos in my life, but that seriously ranks near the top.

Lets review why it sucks:

1) There is no point to the video.
2) There is no artistic talent in the video.
3) The video makes no sense. One example of this is when the creator makes a comment about the PS3 really having games, then proceeds to show games that have not been released yet.
4) The background music has nothing to do with the subject. I suspect it has more to do with the creators age or lack of a college education.

I have an idea for the original poster. Maybe they should spend time playing their PS3 instead of making absurd videos that only make them look like a complete moron.

Sony needs this type of originality for exclusive titles.... give that fan a contract!

The PS3 itself doesn't suck... of course this is coming off of me reading that SDF post and I'm still in "debunk" mode...

I only wish the PS3's transformation from "crappy system" to "performance leader" would happen much quicker than it's trending. I wish that because it'll be too easy for people that love nothing more than ripping the PS3 a new one plenty of time to change their tune so that when the time comes that PS3 is the undisputed "powerhouse" of this gen (I use that term because who the hell knows how many Wiis are going to sell... it may very well be that PS3 games surpass 360 games in quality while both consoles still get pummeled by Wii sales).

People will come to appreciate the PS3, Cell Processor/Blu-ray and all...

I agree with you that down the line the PS3 will be a great system to buy... but right now.. its not.

My Xbox 360 problems started the day I got it... Christmas '06. Nine months before it actually died... and in all honesty, the 360's hype at the time was more (to me) than the actual machine... it's functional, has a great controller, and a good library... nothing more.

And thats all I want from the PS3. It's functional... but has no rumble and has a crap library... But I know the games will come its just going to take some time and the rumble should be coming back sometime in the near future... so I'm thinking in two years I'll be loving my PS3.

Rumble was shown in Tokyo today (http://ps3.ign.com/articles/821/821010p1.html)... IGN is reporting the latest Burnout Paradise demo on the PS3 had a rumble controller (they are unable to confirm if it's "the" new controller or just a prototype... they said it looked exactly like a SIXAXIS and had PS2-esque rumble feel).

You are right and thats why I just got my 360 a little less than a year ago, and I'll do the same for the PS3. I just don't see a point on spending big bucks for a system just to sit on my hands and wait for it not to suck.

I'm hoping you're exaggerating for effect because the PS3 does have good games now, just not a ton of them.

The following games are all excellent: Resistance:Fall of Man, MotorStorm (it's much more complete than how it launched; they keep updating it), Ninja Gaiden Sigma (not my cup of tea, but highly regarded), Heavenly Sword (it may be short, but it's a great game; don't knock it until you've played the actual game -- the demo's way too short), Warhawk (it's not called Wowhawk for no reason), and several competent versions of multiplatform games you probably already own or have played...

And as for PSN Games: Calling All Cars, GripShift, and Super Stardust HD are all excellent and available now with many more "good" games available now and promising games due out before the end of the year.

So yeah, there are great games out now but they can always use more. To me, this is comparable to the 360's first year... so while not ideal, I can't really point my finger and say "Failure!"

I agree thats not bad but for me it isn't worth the money. I mean I felt the same way about the 360 and thats why I waited so long to get one. And yes I am exaggerating for effect.

In the end the PS3 isn't shite but right now its still not worth the price tag... will it be? You bet. And when it is worth it... then I'll buy it. Can't wait.
