Yes we make fun of booth babes that do not know about the games they promote. We never claimed to know anything about the PS3 and have long admitted we don't own the console except for Lesley now.

I was glad to see it on my iTunes, and on a Tuesday, no less! I was starting to get Pink show withdrawal symptoms, and this show just scratched that itch perfectly.

I'm glad to hear Lesley is getting into PS3 games. I, too have been enjoying InFamous, and it is a great game. Here's a non-spoiler incentive for Lesley. The ending will surprise you for sure. I never saw it coming, and it's been one of my favorite endings to a game in this generation.

Here are a few games from the Playstation Store I think you might enjoy:
PixelJunk Monsters: it's a tower defense game, but it's not over the top hard. Great fun.

PixelJunk Eden: it's a... kind of hard to explain. Download the demo, play it a bit and see if you like it.

Age of Booty: I know what you're thinking, Jax, but it's not some kind of adults-only game. It's actually a pirate game where you have to go around the islands, capturing towns and picking up booty to upgrade your ship. I personally love this game, and have played this $10 title more than I have some of my $60 games.

Just to add my bit to this argument, it's a Open world 3rd person platformer with shooter mechanics disguised as Super powers - There! That's settled then! :tongue:

Gamebler...I have Age of Booty from the XBLArcade and I enjoy the game. I did originally look at it for the name but I like it now that I have it. I'm a bit stuck on one of the harder levels where there are only two islands to secure and you have to do it super fast. But the easy levels were a blast to play through.

I know the level you're talking about, Jax. It is a bitch and a half to get through. I must've played that last hard challenge about ten or fifteen times.
I love that game though. The online play is so much fun.

inFamous is practically a shooter and a platformer. The only difference is the ammuntion comes from his hands and not a gun.

Bolt is basically a rifle
Grenade is a grenade
Shockwave a shotgun
Thunder is an air strike
etc.

Free Realms isn't out for the PS3 yet, only the PC. The best we have so far is Q3 2009 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_Realms).

@Lesley, I'm thrilled that you are enjoying your PS3! It's a great console. You should try Uncharted if your enjoying inFamous. They are definitely very different games, but there are some similarities. I think you'd enjoy it. It's awesome that you're getting into the "real" games as you said. Hey Harlequin, the Batman Arkham Asylum issue with the controller isn't platform related, it's just that one game had invert turned on and the other game had it turned off. It's a setting in the game(s).
