In this episode we talked about infamous, the Bigs 2 Demo,*the*dry spell in game releases*and much, much more.*This is more news and less skits like last week, we were lazy. Thanks to our special guest Chris Paladino, formerly of the Gamerscoreblog and now with Promethium marketing.

Enjoy.

Please stop by**iTunes (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=260079519)and*subscribe (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=260079519)to Sarcastic Gamer Radio. *You can also click this little RSS feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com/SarcasticGamerPodcast) andget the show through your choice of platform (including Zune).

Of course you could always do things manually and just get this handy-dandy*mp3. (http://media.libsyn.com/media/sarcasticgamer/SGRadio-008.mp3)

Again,*8bit Bass did not assist with this episode, but he was the inspiration. Wordpress really wanted him to be attached to this post for some unknown reason.

Hands down the best show since the change up to SG Radio, informative & opinionated, keep it up guys! I also think you should try to get guests more often. This worked out really well!

Really good show> about infamous with sales, are you only refering to the npd numbers or the npd numbers and june numbers (which arent available). if you were referring to mays npd, it was only out 2 weeks and not much ads were shown.

What is the background music from? It sounds like a game I've played before or something.

BTW I listened to this while showering :) And it did nothing for me. But the show was great.

Thanks for another episode!

Also the title sounds good for a Sarcastic Gamer Parody song!

“Don’t Let Them Metacritic Your Heart”. This screams for a T-shirt.

Liked the whole episode especially the InFamous part and your special-guest.
And the background music was BA! :cool2:
I'm just missing one part...where's the Doc vs. Dave BATTLE!?

Great show.

For the dry spell this summer, after seeing some PS1 games being released on PSN recently I got the idea that you could go back and play some of the classics from previous gen consoles. There are games we all missed from previous gen consoles that we should have played. I plan on picking up the Sly Cooper games this summer.

Ah, the dreaded summer dry spell. I have no clue what I am going to do tbh. I have a huge huge back log, but I doubt Im going to touch it. I think Im going to try importing Demon's Souls for the ps3 per Kiljoy's thread. I might not game at all actually, maybe do alot of dolphin and drinking activities or something.

Anyways, great episode again, the third host was a good thing imo. Im going to go download the Bigs 2 when I get home from work

Great show, probably the best so far. Very informative and still very entertaining.

Very nicely done. It was informative, gave me the urge to download the BIGS 2 demo and inspired me to save up for a PS3, more so then I did before. I liked Chris Paladino as a guest star. The show should frequently include more special guests. You should follow up with a comparison of Prototype and InFamous hand-in-hand. Once Again, Nicely Done.

I would have liked some 15 seconds of fame segments. Those added a bit more entertainment, and as another listener pointed out, WHERES THE DOC V. DAVE BATTLE? Or maybe we just need to send more ideas.

Good show guys, always nice to hear from Chris, I still miss his GS Podcast and he doesn't get on the VGS enough.

I'm personally glad that we are heading into a bit of a gaming dry spell, I have such a massive amount of games I need to finish or go back and play again. Haven't finished inFamous or Red Faction yet and Far Cry 2 is still on my list too Doc.

As much as I feel the past two weeks were more lie re-branded Red Shows, from that perspective, it was great.

As for what the "off-season" will ental for me: I've been a bad gamer, so within the week, I'm picking up Rock Band 2 and Burnout Paradise, maybe even Red Faction, and I'm renting G:TVG, Rock Band 1, Prototype (I can't justify purchases from Activision anymore) And now that I'm finally back on the 360, I'm clearing my hard drive and downloading a metric ton of demos. I also want to 100% Bioshock.

This is going to be the summer of MMO's for me.

Since there is nothing coming out that is piquing my interest, I guess it's time to hunker down, load up... *GURGLE* ...Windows, and try out Warhammer or Lord of the Rings online.

Of course, there's always relapsing into WoW... god help me.

Great job, great informative reviews, but one huge thing: Lack of community. I loved where you guys were going with SGR until you recorded the show with Jax. Now, we have a new intro that I find incredibly lame in comparison to the original, no Paul Christy or sponsors, no randomly hilarious segments...NO DOC VERSUS DAVE!

Now it might as well be called the Red show. I understand that you guys have lives and that it was just Father's Day, but I can't responsibly go without saying my piece. The show was getting awesome, and now it seems like you guys have been slacking off with the last 2 episodes. (The "naked" one is understandable, as it wasn't supposed to be produced in any way.) Also...no 15 seconds of fame, or even a call for some? It would be nice to at least have you guys make the request for submissions.

It just doesn't seem like Sarcastic Gamer Radio now; it fails to live up to the very description you guys set for it. It's still good and I'll keep listening, but I'll be disappointed if it remains like this. Even if you guys change it to a Tuesday release to give yourselves more time to record and edit, that would be great.

Best episode yet, gentlemen! I like the idea of guests on the show, do that again in the future!
And, to quench my gaming thirst over the summer dry spell, I purchased an N64 and a buttload of games. I'm getting some semi-retro gaming going on!

EDIT: I think that if you take what you did last episode, but chopped it up and put in the Radio Segments in between, it would help make it more "SG Radio" (like Ploogle said, he made some great points).

I think we're all in agreement on the subject of guests. It's fun to hear someone else on the show from time to time. Just not every week.

Sorry dude but with a name like that, did you really think nobody would notice you were only here to promote your show?
