if im not mistaken its 1, but I know for a fact u can have 2 letter one because i have seen it

That's what I was thinking but usually it's with people on Live Staff. But it never said a minimum so I really dunno.

EDIT - If you're trying to find out to make yourself a new gamertag I'm pretty sure that all or most of the 1 and 2 letter gamertags will be gone. That's assuming that they're are 1 or 2 letter gamertags as Big But 5 says.

i think all 26 letters where taken back in the xbox orignal days. Major Nelsons' cohost is called E and thats his gamertag.
