Is it just me or does COD4 Still beat the socks off of CODwaW? COD4 Is just well to me still that good. Only thing i wished was on COD4 that they have on CODwaW is the expireing rifle grenades or "NewbTubes" At teh beginning of the matches :)

I know that almost everyone will disagree with me, but I'm not really a big fan of either game.

For me, both multiplayers were boring and repetitive. I'm not sure what it is, but neither of the CoD games drew me in as much as games like Bad Company, Halo 3, or Killzone 2. I just can't force myself to sit down and play either of the games online, I just get too bored and uninterested. Overall, I thought both of the games gave a decent singleplayer experience. In my eyes CoD:4 had a pretty good campaign that was much more interesting than WaW. However, the co-op for WaW is definitely a plus, and the only reason I play the game occasionally now is because of Nazi Zombies.

If I had to choose between the two, I would choose WaW, simply because of the co-operative play (with both the campaign and Nazi Zombies).

CoD:4 and CoD WaW had almost the exact same multiplayer and I only lean towards 4 because it's more modern and the tanks in WaW pissed me off.

For me CoD4 is the daddy.
Its not as smooth but the weapons are nice and accurate.

The realism im WaW just took it too far for me.
I like a good arcade shooter mixed with a LITTLE realism

I think tanks totally become the star of the matches in COD5, which is a huge detriment.

Given the choice, I'd play 4 any day of the week.

I don't play either anymore but I really liked both. However i'm gonna have to go with cod4 because i spent over 200 hours in the multiplayer and I sold cod:waw after only playing around 30 hours.

Out of those to i like WaW better but the tanks should not be in it. I actually enjoy bad company more though because it focuses the battle with gold rush which is a great idea so you are not always being shot in the back. I hope bad company comes up with another good mode and for the return of gold rush.

I'm more used to 4 than WAW. Dropshotting seems much easier in 4 . :)

4 > 5, Why? if you comare 5 with 2, 5 sucks, and ok, 5 is actually just 4 with bigger and boring maps and rifles which are pointless. And gosh, the game is soo slooow! Reloading takes like 2 minutes.
There are is also not an active CB Ladder for WaW

I believe this question can be solved simply by calling the closest GameStop and asking which cost more, a used copy of COD4 or a used copy of CODWaW? Please post your results so we shall all know the answer.

I've never understood the hatred for World at War. It seems like half the time the answer I get is, "The guns aren't as good" or "it's not modern." Both of which seem like goofy reasons to me.

But anyway, I actually like World at War over 4. I actually played both for the first time within days of each other so I don't have the issue of having played 4 a ton before World at War came out. Then again, everybody was ready to hate World at War before it came out.

I will say I freaking hate the tanks, but I always play on hardcore anyway, so I don't have to worry about that.

I didn't much care for the single player. Specifically the levels against Japan. It was incredibly frustrating to me that I was shot from places I couldn't see constantly and I got tired of people popping up out of nowhere. That just got old. The Russian levels were pretty fun even if the whole deal has been done to death.

we dont have gamestop in britan, so i went to gamexchange instead. cod4 at £32 and cod WaW at £25. i know whitch one i would pick. but then again, i don really like any cods.

A little late to the party, but I agree with Thad here. COD4 is definitely superior to W@W for me. Looking forward to Modern Warfare 2 coming out later this year, for sure.

I like CoD:WaW the best,mainly because I like using WWII weapons.Also for the Nazi zombie levels....but the only thing I hate about it is that I cant get it to play the campaign properly.I had it cleaned and de-scratched by a professional machine,and it scratched the next time I put it in!(someone please send me a message on how to fix this)
