Am I the only one that can’t wait for Mass Effect to come out? I’m not even sure why I’m that exited though. I don’t really like RPG’s but something about their new way of approaching dialog and branching emotional arc seems pretty sweet. I just hope it can live up to the hype.

So I guess what I’m asking is – Will Mass Effect have a positive or negative effect in the end?

When Halo 3 is so close to be released, there really isn't anything else to get excited about.

I would agree but uhh.. that would make me a brain dead halo nut. Halo is a great first person shooter... seeming as how this is not a first person shooter I don't see how you can bring up halo when talking about it. And before someone says theres shooting in ME and that its first person.. its not the same thing.

Well, since this is the LAST halo from Bungie and will tell how it will all end, it's a pretty big deal.

So that doesnt mean no other games matter I mean come on. Halo is great and all but it isn't the only game that matters any more. I just don't understand. Start a post about Halo if you want to talk about it man. Do you even know what Mass Effect is?

What kind of xbox 360 owner do you think I am? Of course I know what Mass Effect is and I plan on buying it. Ha.. okay well anyways... so what do you think about mass effect? I mean... thats the only reason I was pissed... what do you think of it?.. so on and so on.. and is it going to be all hype or is there really something there worth waiting for?

I know what it is and I don't even own a 360 yet. It looks nice and is at three of my list of games to get right under Assassins Creed and Fallout 3.

One thing I'm pro/con about is the concept of having to suit your team up and show them where to go, etc. On one hand, it’s really cool and could be very enjoyable to do sometimes, but not all the time. I don't want to have to micromanage my team in order for the game to be played to its fullest.

Other than that though, I'm totally going to get it. The entire concept of it looks great.

With that out of the way, I've been looking forward to this game for quite a while, it's ranking right up there with Assassins Creed and Bio-Shock for me. I think it will definitely live up to it's hype, I mean, it is coming from Bioware... ;)

Yeah I was a little scared about that myself but then I found out that you dont have to do it if you don't want to... this is good because I'm one of them weired people who really don't enjoy RPG games all that much. I always want to but I just can never enjoy the battles.

ME is the number one game on my personal must-have-list.

Bioware is the last gamestudio wich games have never disappointed me. And after reading through the prequel novel two times I am sure that the world and story of ME is very rich and compelling. And after all those short/casual-game hype which is happening since some time now, I'm really looking forward to play something with a rich storyline again.

Hey nine. Ditto what you said about ME. Looks pretty sweet. And I'm Eleven. We should be good friends : )

From what I've seen so far, I'm not 100% sold on Mass Effect just yet, its very sterile looking and the basic storyline and characters seem very stereotypical.

However, this is Bioware, they made possibly the best Star Wars game in current existence, which had a stellar story, as did Jade Empire according to my fiance, so yeah I'm keeping an eye on it, but getting my hope up.

Latest trailer is awesome guys. It feels like a hollywood blockbuster trailer! Hope it comes to PC. :D

I wish I was rich. I'd be able to stay home all day, and venture to play all of these games that are coming out.

Of all the games coming out in the near future...Msss Effect is the one I'm excited about the MOST.

Halo 3 is still on my top, then CoD4, Crysis, and then Mass Effect. I'm just not that big of an RPG guy. But, this looks the most amazing out of all the RPG's I've seen.
