I'm contemplating getting the Orange Box for PS3, and one of the major draws of the package is Team Fortress 2. But before I splurge out the cash I just want to know one thing:

Are there any people actually playing TF2 on the PS3?
I'd hate to log on to find out I'm the only on the servers...

I have heard that the Orange Box isn't good on the PS3. If you have a computer that will run it, I would pick it up for the PC.

The last time I tried playing TF2 on the PS3 there was literally 5 other people playing it. Granted that was a while back, but I wouldn't be surprised if the servers were filled with tumble weeds.

The reason I want it on the PS3 is that I got my black box on the bedroom. I'd have loved to throw myself down on the mattress and blast away, really relaxing.

I also got a PC and Xbox 360, but they are both located in the livingroom, right next to the childrens bedroom. I wouldn't be able to crank the volume up, nor would I have any privacy from my fiance that then to get tired of me playing these kind of games where she can see them.

Not true, I went on the other day and there were plenty of people on, if you want add me and we can have a game. PSN jammyjuju. Everyone's still playing 2fort. :undecided:
Plus, it has a long campaign, there are 3 episodes and I'm still on the first one, and I played for what seemed like ages. Portal is good too, if you have 30mins to waste play a level on that, some of them get your brain working too.

Glad to hear it. I'll wait a while and see if a few more can confirm that the servers aren't dead before buying, though. :)

personally get it for the pc still many many people playing TF2 and steam are constantly having deals on the orange box or TF2.

You realize that this is the PS3 section, right? Anyways, TF2 is very good on PS3 and a decent amount of people play it. But I would actually suggest getting it on the PC because I seem to remember that they actually put DLC on it. If you like to glitch, though, I would suggest getting PS3 because it was only patched a few times.

What is this "glitch" thing you speak of? Never seen any major glitches in TF 2, mind you I haven't played properly in ages. I will have to try and find some on youtube.
