And the reason, mech games.....

Ive looked over Armored Core, and Chrome Hounds, and had an interest in both... after all, now that we are in a giant mech, that "disconnect" I feel to analog makes sense. We ARE in a giant robot all the time, so we WOULD be aiming with a stick!

Virtual On, and now Mech Warrior 5.... and only one of these games are going to PC (MechWarrior)... yet all I would use with a 360 controller (assuming I didnt win the lottery and by the Vitrual On specified controller)....

I think we may be looking come Christmas time, at one more platform in my arsonal.... in fact, Im almost sure of it.

Whoa! Has the PC community been notified? Did you get permission to leave? You can't just mosey on over to the 360 way of life on a Mech game whim -- If we allowed everyone to do that they would be no PC gamers left! :tongue:

More seriously, if you never had an original Xbox there were some good Mech games for that too, that may be backwards compatible - Mech Assault, was one of my friends favourites and there was another one he had that I really liked (by Sega from memory but I can't remember the title - I ask him next time I speak to him)

Who says Im leaving? PC primarily... that hasn't changed... but I may have found a new favorite specifically for mecha games.

PC may be my first choice, but I believe in the way of the Universalist. (Why do you think I asked about "gold cards" for the SGTCG?)

Maybe MightyMutt was referring to Steel Battalion, which in my opinion was just fricken awesome. It is for the original XBox so it may not work on the 360, but it is one of my favorite mech games.

As the old xbox controllers aren't compatible with the 360, I really can't see Steel Battalion's behemoth of a controller being compatible either.

There are a few ifs here, but it looks good. Sometime after Christmas, Ill know for certain, but I think Im expanding my Universal status for mecha games.
