View Full Version : SG gets mention in Joystiq over Gerstmann comments Spudnik 12-05-2007, 09:33 PM Well after all he does have the whole gaming community on his side andyg8180 12-05-2007, 10:34 PM http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/05/gerstmann-gate-wednesday-update/ check it out... nice little reference to the SG site over your views on the Gerstmann issue... Looks like they like you guys!! lol CaptnKiller 12-05-2007, 10:38 PM LMAO!! Sarcastic Gamer isn't feeling too sorry for Gerstmann: "Getting fired was the BEST thing to ever happen to the man. He has become an instant internet celeb, without the taking the sleazy amateur video route, and can basically cash his own ticket anywhere he chooses." That seems to be a little out of context. Most people here don't think that. iPlayPC 12-05-2007, 10:38 PM Oh Well. Go SG. keith22 12-05-2007, 10:39 PM jeff is a superstar Bacontastic 12-05-2007, 10:42 PM Any publicity is good publicity? iPlayPC 12-05-2007, 10:59 PM Well it isn't really bad publicity... andyg8180 12-05-2007, 11:06 PM i dont think its bad publicity... only problem is, is that site usually gets a lot of turd monkeys that misinterpret things... Or they just have a stick up their butt lol... GO SG!! Yousty 12-05-2007, 11:06 PM I don't think it's taken too far out of context. I personally think this is going to be the best thing for Gerstmann in the end. He was fired from a corrupt website who was always censoring him and now he should be able to get a job at a much better website or magazine who will most likely pay him equal or more of what he was making at Gamespot. Sounds like a good deal to me. Also, awesome job on the article and making the joystiq highlights, PMPB! Losing a bit of weight might rank right up there, if he ever did it. Too soon for fat jokes? Ok. Bacontastic 12-06-2007, 10:06 AM Losing a bit of weight might rank right up there, if he ever did it.
