I just started a new contract with an iPhone 3GS after using the original iPhone for ever and it is screaming fast compared to that.

However, i did notice that the iPhone did slow down after a while of using it, but all i had to do was just restore it to factory settings on iTunes (make sure you have your iPhone backed up on iTunes) then restore the back up and it stays quick-ish for a few weeks/months.

Bah, you don't need a Jacket at PAX. You'll be fine. However you will need a towel.

Don't be too hard on TJ. In LA 30min away is considered right around the corner.

Hey, thanks so much for another episode after the wait! A good and fun pc game i've been playing is Plants Vs. Zombies. It's super fun and addicting, and it was around $8 bucks last time I checked on steam. Doc, it's worth every penny!

Guys PAX was stinky sweaty hot last year hence my need for a sleeveless shirt. Looking forward to seeing you guys again. BTW I live about a half hour from Seattle! lol

whoa, you forgot to bleep out, "my iPhone is like an effen fortress" when reviewing the ottorbox case. I love my ottorbox but I just have the silicon one, padded corners FTW. And by the way doc, its not the iPhones fault your dropping calls, thats AT&T, my iPhone on T-Mobile never drops calls but my dads on AT&T seems to drop every time we talk.

"the all over network" my ass, at least they offer 3G in my area, tmobile doesn't, either way it wouldn't work with my iPhone, just one of the reasons I switched from a G1.

Both are cool as hell... but both have alot of crap dumped onto them software-wise that you have to get through to find what makes them cool.

PAX is it here yet? (I only looking forward to my vacation - I get to Seattle on August 28 for a few days of R&R before PAX starts).

Doc and Dave. thanks for the new show. Doc i have to say that i am right there with you with The Beatles. I like the music but i like it more when someone else covers it. I don't think there is a better version of blackbird than Sarah McLaughlin's from I AM SAM. Then again maybe i am weird. As far as games you may have missed. As a fan of games without a PS3 I feel i must let you know about games I want to play on PSN yet can't. Shatter is one and Trash Panic is another. Call of Juarez Bound in Blood is better than you would think... It has a 50 cent Blood in the Sand feel..... by that i mean. that i don't want to like it.... but i do. Also Splosion man has gotten me through this "so called drought"... And lets face it you can always go back to Fallout 3... if it is too drab well there are mods on the pc to make it cheery like Fable 2. Also if you are playing it on XBOX there are so many DLCs out that there is no way that anyone could have finished them all...


Ok sorry for rambling.... I just wanted to let you in on some things i wanted to play. Thanks again for the show, and even more thanks for the community i know feel a part of.

Trine, for REAL! I love that game.

But, when I catch a case of the game-bordom, I dip into my backlog and pick up a cheap <$21 game to play. recently, I bought Gun for Game Cube and played it on my Wii, that was totally fun and worth the cash (I got it for GCN, b/c those used games tend to be MUCH cheaper than the others)

Also, if you wanna get a PC game besides Trine, Counter-Strike: Source is an older PC game that still has a HUGE community and has so many in-game mods that you can play anything from a Zombie survival game similar to Nazi Zombies, to a stratigic Counterterrorist vs. Terrorist game similar to SOCOM: Confrontation in the way spawning works, to a wierd game known as Jailbreak, which is almost a separate game in itself. PLUS all of the community maps made. Very unique, totally amazing. $20

Umm.. the last PC suggestion I have for you is the Orange Box (which is on 360, also). It contains Half-Life 2 (in my opinion, the best game ever created), plus episodes 1 & 2, and Portal ('nuff said), and Team Fortress 2 (my favorite PC multiplayer game ever, only seconded my Counter-Strike: Source). It gives you Half-Life 2 for your super-hardcore FPS needs, Portal as your palatte-cleanser, and TF2 for all your amazing multiplayer needs. The full package (5 games) is $30 (I got it for 10 in a STEAM weekend deal, GO STEAM!). I would have payed $60 for it, honestly, worth every penny.

It's Try-n, I believe, that's the way they pronounce it on X-play, and the Sesler (I know I must have spelled that wrong) is usually right about those kinds of things... :thumbsup:

although, I'm willing to referee a fight to the death! Best theme music wins!
