I can not get any were near it from the front and if I go in from the back via little lamplight i can not find the entrains can any one help me

to actually find the entrance, my mate took like 1500 rad-aways and ran for it, he used all of them.....and then died in the entrance

so there is no safe way to get to it?

Do not go in through the front entrance EVER !!!!!!!!!!! You go through little lamplight and the kids will give you directions. like do not go down the ........... ergo you must go through the ........... (sorry forgot what it was called).

If I remember correctly there were some boxes in front of the door that you have to move, so it doesn't immediately look like a door you can get through. It was in one of the buildings in little lamplight at the back. Though, I could be completely off, it's been quite awhile since I played.

well yeah little lamplight is the way in, just go to google and search for fallout 3 map and look for that. To ACTUALLY discover Vault 87 you have to go through the front :P as i said, my mate actually can fast travel there now, but dies in a second lol

I know its already been linked to but always use http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_Wiki for any fallout related queries, It has easily the best information on the game and is just plain awesome...
It is on there if you search for it, But if i remember rightly a little black kid in little lamplight shows you the way to the back entrance, There you have to hack the door control to get in, I think you may have to go through a cave after that door though...

Talk to the mayor of little lamplight he should be on the right as soon as you enter the main gate. Just keep hitting the top speech option until he escorts you to murder pass. Proceed forward.

Ok for any one who wants to know what things you need to get to the door (which is inaccessible)
