I realize you guys can't appeal to everyone for these, but would it be possible to have some on another day, say Sun or later in the evening for Pacific coasters?

Again, not trying to be a pain, but how many UK'ers are going to be attending PAX?

I'm presuming you're asking this as a non-sequitur, and not as "Well, there are no UK-ers coming to PAX and therefore they are not as important as our West Coast crowd", or I think some of our writers and both editors will set your avatar on fire.

I was thinking it was a must be present to win sorta contest, that is why I was implying how many will be coming to PAX. After re-reading the initial gamer nights post and seeing how many people are planning on attending PAX those would have been some great odds. :D

Nope, most likely going to have a drawing at PAX, maybe live and maybe even at the meet up. Well see, haven't thought that far ahead right now, but no, you do not need to be present at PAX to win. :)

major Problem On my end...... can't find it locally to rent or buy. So my only alternitive is to buy it off of PSN:undecided: or if someone on my friends list will game share a Download copy.

Only a few hours to go before we kick things off for this week's event! It should be fairly easy to kill my ass, as I've only gone through the tutorial once. A lot more to this game than I expected!

Anyway, 12:47 EST, so I'll be on in about two and a half hours! See you all there! Make sure you find me, Pacman or Dave online and let us know that you were there!

And remember, you can still register during the game time, but as soon as we shut down for the night, the tickets are issued and the thread gets locked!

(Oh, and Droozy, I had the same problem last week with COD4. I thought for sure that it would be at my local rental place, when sure enough, it had been rented out. I had to buy the GOTY edition at freakin' $60 at Best Buy. Go me, especially because I already own the PC version...that being said, I don't think anyone here trying to win raffle tickets is going to gameshare you a chance to beat them...I'm just sayin' :) )

So this week's Summer Games Bad Ass award goes to IYield2No1.

Holy god. Apparently, IYield2No1 spends some time in Warhawk. I'd be flying around, see his rank icon, and fly AWAY from it, because there was a 90/10% of me being killed by him. I think there was even a point where he would purposefully chase after me for the easy kill...but that might have been my paranoia.

Good time everyone. And a surprisingly indepth multiplayer. I had no idea there was a ground component to the game, but I can't tell you how many times I was knocked out of the sky by ground turrets or SAM batteries.

What did I learn when playing warhawk last night?

Don't let saint mantooth drive he will roll you off a cliff.
