I've been on the fence about this game for a while now. I found it on sale, but I'm still not sure if it's worth more than a rent. What do you suggest?

I bought it and I am enjoying it but I would recommend renting it - as long as you can rent it for a while, it seems quite long.

I asked myself the same question and I also dont know whether to rent or buy this game. I might rent it and if i like it might puirchase it for myself. Also another reason to rent is you can get the platinum in a few hours. :undecided:

I thought about buying the original, but I rented it instead and was sort of glad I did. It wasn't one that I thought back on and said to myself "hey, I really feel like playing that game again." I enjoy western games, but if I'm going to buy one this year it will be Red Dead Redemption.

I'm enjoying the game, but it isn't a shooter that really stands out from the crowd.

It's just a basic shooter, a small selection of weapons and can get frustrating at times, but it has a good story.

I'd recommend renting this first and see if it impresses you enough to buy.

Definitely rent it since the multi player is not that great, and even though there are the two different characters i did not want to go back and play it.

Thanks for all of your input. My wife was wanting to order something from Amazon anyway, so I decided to buy the game because it pushed the total over $25, which qualified us for free shipping on both items. Besides, it was only $35 on Amazon, and I think it's worth that much, though I wouldn't recommend it at full price. Overall, it's a solid game, but I'm probably just going to play through the story once and be done with it.

$35? That's a great price, in my opinion, for the game.

I thought the story mode was pretty decent, but the multiplayer is a blast. I highly recommend trying it out.
