I wasn't sure how much of my song, if any, would make it in. I couldn't stop laughing over Dave's edit. The song was originally done by The Clovers in the early 50's. It was a parody of Darktown Strutter's Ball(which was really popular at the time.) After it was recorded Atlantic Records refused to release it, and it didn't make it's way out for many decades later. I assume all the laughter meant that you liked it, thanks for giving it a play.

BTW. All Soufflés fall. They have to mix and bake it to order where as soon as it comes out of the oven the server has to run it over to the table immediately. Many times the server will make it fall anyway when serving it to pour a cold creme angles in the middle.

Chubba, not sure what was being said, but that made me laugh. The 'Sexiest Ovaries Ever' bit reminded me of an M&S advert (M&S, not S&M!).

Ploogle's audition was wicked and although it may be best to get another girl in, the episode when Jax "sounded a little wierd" :wink2: was awesome and I don't think that detracted from it's pink credentials.

Don't anybody let Jax's review of King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters put you off watching it; it is a brilliant film. Not just from a gamer's perspective, but as a tale of human drama it stands up really well. My wife loved it and knows or cares very little for games. I mean come on the guy who it's about played a perfect game of pac-man. I.e. every board on every level, getting every pill and eating every ghost. That cannot even be quantified in achievement points. It'd be like five million or summat.

It was a good documentary. My husband just thinks that all gamers are obsessive nerds like the people on that show are. You have to admit that some of them were pretty pathetic. It was an interesting look into the evil world of 80's gaming.

When i win the contest i will at least mention some of you Peons. lol jokeing. if i win it would be like the greatest thing ever but i doght i will even get close.

Hell Billy Mitchell just looks evil. On GamerGeeks we simply refer to him as "The Antichrist."

ah, fair enough Jax, my wife did the same; saying that all gamers were like that referee guy. Haha.

But I'm kinda semi-proud of that mental geek association with being a gamer. The characters on that (oh and they are characters) take it to the extremes, but I like the way it caught the all consuming obsession that games create. I think it gave my wife an insight to the inner workings of my head when I'm up till 4 playing Fallout 3.

About Billy Mitchell being the antichrist; I couldn't agree more.. But I can't help but still respect his achievements.

I too agree about his achievements. They are quite impressive (especially the first Perfect Pac-Man,) but the fact is the guy is an arrogant ass. One scene in particular sums it up perfectly...
