Why hello RTS fans. Looking for some suggestions.

I used to play a hell of alot of RTS's. Warcraft 2 was a huge obsession of mine. Also all the AoE's, C and C, ect.

But I haven't played for at least a few years.

So now I have a nice new computer, and decided to get back into them. I picked up Red Alert 3 and installed it yesterday. I know people have mixed opinions on this game, but I really love it and the style.

I need some help with controls though. It' s been so long I forget how to play them effeciently. So I'm wondering how YOU play? Do you use the arrow keys to scroll the map? What about short-cuts? Use the most you can and click as least as possible?

I was just having some trouble getting a comfortable control scheme down, so any tips you can give would be great.

Well, I seem to primarily use the mouse, but I use the unit hotkeys (ctrl + 1 - 9 to assign units to a group). I'm working on learning hotkeys at some point, because I'm sure that would speed up my game, but i seem to do fine with how I play. RA3 is alot of fun, IMO, btw.

Yeah that's pretty much what I've been doing. I do use the attack move hotkey alot and the arrows for camera sometimes.

It sure would speed up my game getting all the tab hotkeys down for moving between production buildings though.

Yes, loving RA3 alot. I've yet to try it out online though. Would probably get owned quick. :P
