I sponsored Doc yesterday. Last year I just used my credit card on the standard form, but this year there are instructions on the donations page saying that international users should use PayPal, so I did. However, the PayPal donation seems to go to someone direct at Texas Children's Hospital, and at the current time (24 hours later) it doesn't appear on Doc's sponsorship page and isn't counted in his total.

Does anybody know if it will appear eventually? Has anybody else gone this route?

Yes it gets added to the totals. I have already received a donation via this method, and it is listed on my page. It does take a few days to show up however.
