After 2 faulty consoles in under a year and a runaround with Microsoft customer service regarding my online purchases not working on the latest console they sent me I decided to call it quites.

I just managed to have the neccesary trade-in values at EB Games to get a new 40g PS3 with Rachet & Clank. Maybe M$ will get me back when they have less BS hardware.

So far I like what I see. I'm not up to HD in hardware yet but everything is nice and quite and easy to navigate. Plus, I ended up liking Spider-man 3 the second time around.

I got Calling All Cars when it was on sale for $4.99, and it's decent. I've only played it by myself, and not with a crowd yet.

PAIN, I can definitely say, is chock full of wonderful multiplayer goodness. Horse and Bowling are seriously good times. :)

i cant see why anyone who actually likes games would do this. its just not fun for multilayer, at least for the games i have. R&C being the only game i enjoy. oh well i guess you can just wait around for MGS4 and Hayze right? id say at least you can play 1080p blu rays but you dont have a HD-TV so this point is moot. please other than faulty hardware (which should be still under warranty) why would you get a PS3 if its for the games you may be delusional.

Hmm... maybe because I've lost faith in the hardware and the company that produces it at this time. Since both systems are proposing a 10 year lifespan, by year 5 the Xbox 360 will be stable enough to buy again... presumably.

i couldn't help my self from laughing i assume by halo, you mean shooters. i have not played pain so i couldn't say what its. Uncharted despite its pretty graphics is just another shooter. EoJ is a CCG if he really like CCG games fine but id rather play Magic online that EoJ and yes i have both. lair is a joke. R&C is good ive never said otherwise its by far the best game for the PS3

well i did play the demo, i didn't finish it the controls were blah yah it was pretty but the whole game felt less than average. care to explain how its not just a mindless shooter? ypu made a mistake in you post R&C is not one of the best title this year is THE best PS3 game this year like finding a diamond in a coal mine, its great but surrounded entirely by utter carp. too bad its not even the best platforming game of the year that title goes to SMG tho the wii as a whole is in utter joke. also i find if funny you said cross platform games for the ps3 are almost better than the 360 yet you playing assassins creed? do you enjoy it win you guy freezes in mid air? oh sony says its a feature so it must be.

I doubt you even played the PS3 version of Assassin's Creed...

Smart move a bought my ps3 back in april after my 2nd 360 got the rrod(2nd 360 breakdown in the space of 5 months)and i do not regret buying the ps3one bit.
If you want a great psn game then get super stardust hd its well worth buying i play that a lot more than i used to play geometry wars.

and devs. are just getting to know the ps3, while doing a game for the 360 is like making a game for the PC in many ways, it only takes a few modifications and there you go, a 360 port.

Its so simple but so much fun. One of those games that becuase its so fast paced most of the time you'll be killing yourself laughing even when youre losing. It sucks in singleplayer though.

The PS3 architecture is different then the xbox dipshit, you need to learn it before you can program on it. Most developers agree the PS3 has a whole lot of potential, you just need to learn it.

I never stated that the PS3 version was the same. I said it was better...

I think it can be agreed upon that since the PS3 was a learning curve for developers due to the architecture and that 360 coding is similar to the pc, Infinity Ward chose to put their focus on the PS3 to make sure they had a game that worked well for that console.

Heck, the developers of Burnout Paradise are coding to PS3 first so that when they worked on the 360 version it would be easier. If you had a project to do, wouldn't you do the hardest part first?

Bummer you can't get PAIN yet. Maybe by the time it shows up in your PSN store you won't get dinked around for the extra characters. (Oh, who am I kidding....)

I'm fortunate in that I'm able to buy from the Japanese and American PSN stores. Not that anything that wonderful has shown up on the J-store yet, but just in case.... :)

I just managed to have the neccesary trade-in values at EB Games to get a new 40g PS3 with Rachet & Clank. Maybe M$ will get me back when they have less BS hardware.

This will be the first game I buy. I don't plan on purchasing my PS3 until I know I have enough to at least by this game. I found out like 2 days before this game was released that they had made a continuation. It took everything I had not to bankrupt myself right then and there.

Well the 360 was aptly named as I went full circle. Still have the PS3 and am getting an HD monitor to play games and Blu-ray movies on, but I terribly missed my friends on Live. I feel a bit hypocritical, but there's room for more than one console in my gaming life.

I am on the verge of conversion. My recent troubles is with the quality and stability of LIVE. Any sort of scoop about the PSN I should know?

Ummm it updates thursdays and it is easy to navigate, but I don't have live so I can't compare it.

i just got a PS3... my roommate has a 360, which i've played for the last couple months and let my Wii collect dust, but ever since i got the PS3, which was a few days ago, i haven't touched the 360, and i don't plan to any time soon.

i beat heavenly sword, which was amazing. everyone always complains about how short it is, but i think it's a perfect length for the story and the style of play. i got the GOTY edition of oblivion, so that should keep me busy for.... oh a few years. :p

just because a system has more games, doesn't necessarily mean it's better. i'm going to do the thing every 360 owner hates and remind you all of when the 360 came out and all it had was Chrome Hounds for about 6 months. the PS3's library is steadily rising, and the biggest thing is, most of the games are quality! no way!

well if you are used to the armoured core movements and controls, no, if youve never played an armoured core before, then ch was better :P but tbh, they were both crap :D
