The show turned out well, but thanks to somebody (Tony Danza you bastard) derailing me a bit, I'm gonna have to answer all the Japanese game questions the hard way. The stuff about Yakuza 3 and Japanese titles did not make da cut.

I wish I could make the Burnout Paradise gamer night, but ill be walking around NYC all day and won't be back on my ps3 til sunday night.

And A side note about Extra Life 09, It came to my head recently, and I have deciced to make a level in LBP advertising SArcasticgamer.com and Extra Life 2009. I have some pretty cool ideas about what to put in the level and hope it turns out ok. You guys should check it out when I finish with it.

Could it be... RECORDING TOO LONG FOR LIKE SIX CONSECUTIVE MONTHS STRAIGHT?!?! He cut like a solid 12-minute chunk from this episode he said... and... and... he cut... some Roomahs too!

So while I don't know if he is pissed, I could understand it if he was.

You guys got epic podcast art but I can never see it.

I love your shows guys. Makes coming to work on Fridays easier knowing I can drown out my coworkers for 30 minutes. Keep up the good work. Also, I will never leave a itunes review because I don't like Apple, sorry.

Ok here is the gist of what was cut out of this episode in terms of Japanese-ish stuff.

A while back I mentioned I had gotten my hands on a English friendly version of Yakuza 3 (Ryū ga Gotoku 3) (龍が如く3). Which many ppl believed meant I had found a true English version of the game. Sorry, no such luck.

A long time ago I was cruising around teamliquid.net and heard ppl talking about playing games that never get released to North America and how to work around the language problems.

Apparently there is a community or group of Japanese speaking gamers (for this example) who have taken it upon themselves to create translated English versions of Japanese manuals, walkthroughs, audio and more.

I was able to order one such package (which came with an un-opened copy of Yakuza 3) online a while back. Now it is not in English at all. However the nice person I bought it from included an MP3 CD containing an English version of all the audio for the core elements of the game. It is a bit of a pain, but at least I can play it at the same time as the on-screen video (with in-game audio off) so that you can figure out what the story is. It also came with a manual, on-screen breakdown sheet (what's what in-game in English) and a few other tidbits. None of this stuff is official or anything, but for fan created content, it's obvious a lot of work went into it.

In attempt to play more Japanese/Asia only titles, I created a new Japanese PSN account called GloriousFallen. A group of friends, who DO speak Japanese, and help me out immensely, have taken me under their wing and we use our J accounts to play games we have imported.

There's TOO MUCH awesomeness for 40 minutes. Well, at least before the machete...

Dave cuts the show down to 30 min by editing all the shout outs and roooomahs. So many people's shout outs are lost each week due to Dave cut happy editing.

So if you ever asked for a shout out and didn't hear it... Well, you got one. Just look on Dave editing floor.

Or evaluations of games/products sent to us... LOL! We go through the trouble to try them out and then share our thoughts and it ends up on the cutting room floor. We all got PS4's last month and have talked about them THREE TIMES on the show, but Dave keeps cutting it out. Same thing with Natal and the HD Wiis we got sent (do they even know we do a PlayStation podcast?!?!)

Yep, we get along just fine. We like to raz each other. Every now and then we get carried away, but all in good fun. When we started the show we all agreed "what happens on the show is for the show."

Besides every time I REALLY want to go off on Frawlz, he actually raises a valid point (rare :P) and then I'm left all confused about how the world works.

Okay, that's too funny. Frawlz can stun with unexpected logic, but it's pretty rare. For some reason I'm reminded of the Monty Python quote "Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!"

Hmmm I always wondered where the reviews were, I still don't get how PacManSpoilerBear gets to keep his 8 minute rants on Patapon and Price drops, (I mean they're really intresting if you're zoned in, but when you Frawlz Psych out of them you kinda dont know what day of the week it is.)
