I've got kill em all and ride the lightning but I cant decide which to get next as ive got a £7 amazon voucher. The choices are ...and justice for all, The black album or Master of the puppets. I've already got a cover version of Master of the Puppets from kerrang and I quite liked it and if i do get it, I will be buying em in chronological order. I quite liked One by Metallica as well but i dunno.

...And Justice for All is one of my favorite albums of theirs. Master of Puppets is also phenomenal as well. The Black Album is good but those other two kick it out the water. You may just have to flip a coin. You should get every Metallica album, but I would skip St. Anger, its rubbish.

lol unfortunately that was my first album of theres *shudders* didnt listen to it much and it ended up going back on ebay. I thought the cut down version of st anger wasnt that bad but the full version just sounded like it was just dragged out too much. Ride the Lightning/kill em all are quite different but there still good.

I say Master of Puppets.

Good album and is also a good song.

... And justice for all.. really, metallica at it's best right there. Then get Master of Puppets, then the black album.

If it was upto me, I'd say Master of Puppets, but you should look up songs online and figured out what one fits you better. Who knows, you could be one of those wrong people that prefer the Black album.

I say save up and buy the box edition.

Master of Puppets. Probably my favorite Metallica album.

...And Justice first (Eye of the Beholder, One, and the title are incredible), Master is second and Black third (but still a good choice)...Judas Priest then Maiden Then Metallica, now I am digging Mastodon...

master of puppets wouldn't even be my second choice.

Ride the Lightning is better.

AJFA is fantastic, though.

I would go for Master of the puppets just because it had the first and the best song that i listened to by Metallica. =D

Ditto. ...And Justice has the most staying power of the three for me.

Master Of Puppets for the following reasons

1.its Cliff Burtons last album_RIP Cliff.
2.Saniterium, the song is just epic
3.1986 was the golden year for thrash/speed metal
4.Its was metallica's last true thrash album
5.Orion, says it all.

And Justice For All is a great album but after Cliff Burton died they have never been the same or quite as good.

Black Album only has 3 good songs
