According to Kotaku, the community of Ottumwa, Iowa is pushing to create an international video game hall of fame. The venture seems to have a lot of support, including that of the local and state governments. Donations have even come from outside of the U.S. Check out the Kotaku piece (http://kotaku.com/5337062/thousands-attend-iowa-hall-of-fame-launch) for more details.

However, my question to you, Sarcastic Gamer extraordinaire, is this: What game-related item would you consider worthy of a hall of fame induction? It can be real or virtual, anything that tickles your fancy.

I will start:

A "golden" Ocarina of Time N64 cartridge.

I guess i'll have to make a little trip down southwest, and i think an evolution of microsoft wing, an evolution of sony wing, and an evolution of nintendo wing would be nice.

Am I going to have to shamelessly bump this thread? Yes, I think I will.

In the arcade cabinet section:

The Simpsons
X-Men
Cowboys of Moo Mesa
Captain America and the Avengers
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I love me some side-scrolling beat-'em-ups. Can you tell?

Real or prosthetic? If the former, there would have to be a lot of air fresheners in that exhibit.
