I'm thinking about buying a new DS game but I have no clue what to buy. I don't like RPG games, but other than that I'm really open to anything. Any one got any suggestions? How about a game thats good but didn't get much press. Something under the radar.

The Phoenix Wright games were supposed to be good, along with the surgery game they have, Trauma Center I think. Maybe that's the Wii version, on Gamestop the one for the DS says Lifesigns: Surgical Unit. Worms is always a good choice for games. Or maybe a good Pony (http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=180389) game is what's for you? ;)

I've been thinking about buying PQ. Hmm... I think that's what I'll pick up. I have all the other games people talked about.

I'm getting loads of fun out of Elite Beat Agents at the moment, it truly is a fantastic game.

Camp as hell, but is incredibly fun.

Osu Taketake ouendan 2 is a good one, although you will need to import this puppy. (a online store like yesaisa or ebay should work)

Yeah if you like EBA you'll like Osu Takae Ouenden and Osu Takae Ouenden 2 (from what I've heard).

Elite Beat Agents is the westernised version of those games.

You're probably thinking of Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan and it's sequel, Moeru! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii! Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2. They're both fantastic, and in my opinion much better than Elite Beat Agents.

I'm trying hard not to recommend Dokidoki Majo Shinpan, but obviously I've just failed. It's the semi-notorious "witch-touching" game where you have to work your way around a Japanese junior high school uncovering witches in the student body by rubbing them to make their pulses race.

On a more serious note, try Hotel Dusk, Tetris DS and New Super Mario Brothers.

"Something under the radar." Metroid is hardly under the radar. Plus it's gimicky. The touchscreen FPS idea was cool for about 23 minutes before my hand started to cramp up becasue of the weird controls.

I would reccommend Final Fantasy III as well because it is a great game but if you are a multiplayer fan head for mario kart ds or pokemon diamond/pearl

I actually didn't like Diamond as much as Sapphire/Ruby. Those games revamped the entire handheld series, and they had a lot of core stuff nailed down. The newer DS game just throws in a bunch of random features for the sake of the touch screen. Mining for items, anyone?

Lol. That would actually be amazing if they did a remake for the Wii. They'd revamp EVERYTHING, make it a LOT longer, add a ton more features, and it would use the Wii controller. Wow.

ill name a shit ds game: Pokemon, i traded that in for zelda phantom hourglass at my local game (yes not gamestop!) and i have loved every second of it. The pokemon games follow a basic rule: get a pokemon, make him more powerful, beat gyms beat leauge and then youre bored. That's all. But with Zelda DS you can look for treasure at SEA!!! The sea is huge and the game graphics are not 2.5D but true 3D! It looks like a gamecube game but with the shittier processor

I'd have to say Zelda the phantom hourglass. I know that it hasn't had much hype but i've personally i've always liked it except the Ocarina of time as i've said before so ya i'd go with that.
