Dead island, has some cool scenery and character animations, thats all ive seen so far, dont know if ps3 are getting it too, and the 2 chapters they get for GTA4

Halo, well surely its just the same as the other Halos? i played halo 1 and 2, preeeeetty mediocre in my opinion, and multiplayer? its just a bunch of 1337's jumping about with rocket launchers...really not groundbreaking, much rather go do that with UT3 tbh! What are you Xbots looking forward too now then? hmmmm...cant really think of much, i liked my xbox 360, but it outstayed its welcome after i finished Gears of War, finished Viva pinata in a day, and had Poo Snakes chase me...the only game i would truly get the 360 back for would be...Crackdown, easily one of the funnest games ive played. Well the fact that im from England means they ****ing havent come out, so ive still got them to look forward too, therefore, my statement still rings true. And where has it been stated that FF13 is coming out in 2009? I havent seen anything suggesting that, or suggesting anything for that matter :S

And yeh emophia, dmc and burnout are going to be mint, and the fact that they wont be ports for once means finally, we can stop having gametrailers comparisons which shows the ps3 as crap, because all the did was tweak a bit, saw it looked nothing like it should, and went "ah **** it, we are douche bags, we dont care" although, i dont really agree taht they totally shit over everything else, as well, even though i will definitely be getting it, dmc might just end up being the same old thing over and over again (doesnt mean i wont totally enjoy it though!) Time Crisis 4 isn't that great and if you want to do co-op you have to buy ANOTHER game, it sucks.

You have to give the PS3 some slack, it doesn't have the year advantage the 360 have :S

A lot of 360 games are published by Microsoft Game Studios so it's only fair to label games that come out for both 360 and PC as 360 exclusives. Why? because only Microsoft would be stupid company if it were deprive a hit game from either one of it's platforms both of which have a huge huge base just so it can be a true 'Exclusive' title.

If Sony had two platforms I'm sure that your exclusive titles would appear on them too.

I was joking, but just so you know a whole lot of people prefer the controller over mouse and keyboard, you say mouse and keyboard because you grew up with it, as for game prices well you have that money to spend constantly upgrading your pc, same with graphics, yes you can run that game but because your pc can't run it at an optimal level you don't get the best graphics, the only thing I can give you is the modding community.

as for upgrading, if I were to have an older dual core or even an overclocked P4 I would be able to play Crysis at high settings no AA/4XAF if I spent the $250 USD and got an 8800GT.

And i do agree that PC gaming for RTS's and FPS's are better (for me as i prefer the controls), but did you actually try to counter an argument with "spending $250 a year is fine"....? thats £125 a year.... which in two years is like a 360, or a preowned ps3 or a wii. Ok, Xbox came out Nov 2001 and Xbox 360 came out Nov 2005. That's 4 years, if I upgrade every two years I'd spend the equivalent of an elite and my performance would be ahead.

The graphics card in the 360 has a peak texture fill rate of 4 gigapixels per second, that's equivalent to a Geforce 6 card that was released in April 2004. That means if I bought my Geforce 6 card I still wouldn't have to upgrade up to now and I'll still be able to get or at least close to the graphical performance of 360, nearly 4 years without spending any money on upgrades.

yes, i owned blue dragon, and i hated it so much, that it was one of the three reasons i traded in my 360 for my ps3 (main reason is im broke and would rather have a ps3, IF i had the money to spare, i would have kept my 360, as there are some worthwhile games on there) so yes, i wouldnt comment on a game if i havent owned it or played less than 4 hours on it. Every game i dissed ive owned or played extensively, so dont try to bring out the "you probs dont own it" card on me. And in terms of longevity, well, tbh, i dont give a rats ass, as out of those three you mentioned, ive only owned ratchet and clank, due to the aforementioned money shortage due to a student lifestyle, and i spent 3 weeks playing ratchet and clank, and getting everything except a few things done, so put together with the other games, i doubt blue dragon was any longer. I refused to play to the end, i was so insulted by the characters, the only redeeming thing it had, was how beautiful it was, and it was definitely a stunning game to look at, not so much (for me, in my opinion) to play. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, which is the main title for this topic. So how was Halo Wars? It's not out here in the States yet but since you only comment on games you have played extensively MS must have released it in the UK early.

Well the PS2 isn't outselling the 360 or Wii. And the PS3 has a bigger library of games since it plays PS1/PS2/PS3 games(well not the crappy 40gb model but who would buy that one?) You didn't really say why you didn't like Blue Dragon. The characters were insulting? What does that mean? And why would Blue Dragon be a reason for you to sell your 360. Xbox 360=American Console Blue Dragon=Japanese RPG. I'm surprised MS decided to release it in the states. JRPGS aren't too popular here(unless it says Final fantasy or Square somewhere on the box) and the game sold decent in japan and thats all MS wanted.

I agree we are all entitled to opinions but you need to back up your opinions with real reasons. Sony must have been smoking something when they decided to charge $40 for the GT 5 demo(GT5 Prologue) but people don't seem to be complaining.

i didnt like blue dragon, for the story, and the character personality, playing as 12 year olds who get told to swallow blue gems, so they do (why?!?!) and then the game became too easy after you got the dragons, everything died really quickly, and it didnt help as i played it like i play every rpg, i kill everything i see in order to get 10 levels really quickly, meh, the main character was a douche, even with the good japanese voices, it just didnt do it for me at all.

It was a main reason to get rid of my 360 as i was really excited about it, and if a game i was really really excited about turned out that shite (in my view), what would all the other exclusives i was excited about turn out like? As i said before, i would have kept my 360, if i had the money to, i just prefer my ps3 is all :P

But back to your earlier comment, about UK early realease (will never happen) we have the same language as Americans right? Can you make your own mods/maps or play fps with a keyboard and mouse on 360? I think not, it also has worse graphics and anything can be done on a PC. all a 360 does is play games/music.
