Reasons against the Blu show and the HDUD: They're still going strong. Aside from Smelly Pirate's kid on the way, there hasn't been any known drama with the show. They talk about the gaming news, and are actually relevant to gaming. :lol: Not to say SGR isn't...

I think the pink show and SGR should merge tbh :D But yeah, I would guess it's either of those two.

I will actually play 'What is love?' and bop my head to the left if its the blue show :/ got me worried.

i am afraid that it might be the blue show because
sgr: staying because they are the original SG show and it would be a big blow to the site if they left. also after surviving loosing a member they have gone relatively strong. the only hint they might be leaving now is that they have not brought up an active search for a new member.

pink: staying because they have been quite active in their search for a new co-host. with the contest submissions and the recent episode with the intern host.

orange: staying just because it is pretty new, i haven't listened in a while so i dont know what is going on but that is my theory.

blue is the only one left and hasn't made any drama public. please dont go blue

the only other thing they might be doing is canceling the community casts but i cant imagine why.

I really really reeeaaallly wish it's just the Pink or SGR getting some improvements and a new look, which is enough to reset the podcast?

I am guessing SGR for the fact that I have a bet on it in the bet thread, and that all the SGR hosts will be there, so they can all say goodbye properly. Also, they seem to be in decline with the enthusiasm in the show.

Pink are safe methinks, because they are funny, appeal for an otherwise uncatered for audience, and are making good airtime in their search for a host.

Blu are going very strong, both funny and great gaming coverage. No controversy or problems atm.

Great show, but as I say, the enthusiasm doesn't seem to be as great as it was, none of the old flair and excitement. Tis a shame, but I dunno all the backstage info, so meh

I just started listening to the blue show a few weeks ago and tbh I will freak if it goes off. It got me listening to humpday and SGR the first day i listened to it. As far as your podcasts go I have to say they are the ones I look foreward to downloading, I listen to others too, since i drive long distances on weekends and your podcast are not long enough for the trip, but i usually listen to Blu a second time on the way back.

I mean who else can make me laugh at the thought of an old ass Nazi in exile somewhere yelling about being persecuted.

Anyone else think it was wierd that Doc and Dave seemed so enthusiastic about the announcemnt of a cancellation of one of the shows. 'A HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT' as described in the show notes makes it sound like it's going to be a good thing, and they seem to be building up hype and attention to this as well by announcing the announcement (Kojima-Style). Leaving everyone to speculate and create rumours about which show it will be.

Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but maybe there's going to be a replacement podcast for the Radio Show? Judging by Doc and Dave's enthusiasm.

But, I can't help but think the Radio Show is going. Along with Doc and Dave, permanently. Hopefully there will be a new cast and main show. But there have been too many ominous signs that have been leading up to this point, and I think alot of people have been expecting them to quit for a while now.

I've gotta disagree with you. The Pink show wouldn't end after all these guest hosts they have auditioning, so that's not really an issue there...just a minor setback.

SGR on the other hand...Doc and Dave have been increasingly busy with their jobs, and the show until recently had been released sporadically. SGR started out with the premise of allowing them both a creative outlet, but lately it's just been one long 30 min segment of talking. Not even Paul Christy lately. The new 5 second intro versus the amazingly well-done cover of Mambo Number 5. No more produced segments. The only variety on the show is the fake location they're recording from. SGR has been slowly dying...if any of the shows are actually going to call it quits, it's sadly enough SGR.

You all should start a betting pool. And who ever wins gets to make the donation towards Extra Life in their name or something.. Just sayin'.

I understand what you're saying, but the work to make a weekly podcast, especially working around people's jobs, and promoting Extra Life in other ways and stuff, can't be easy, so maybe they will now, just to make it easier on them, so they can help support Extra Life.

I don't know how many people will actually read this, but Doc mentions people beating Shadow Complex in under an hour. Hillary Goldstein from IGN can beat it in under 30 minutes by sequence breaking the game. Just thought you guys might want to know.

sorry, I wish I could tell you, but he won't say. He claims that he, one of the developers of the game, and one other guy at IGN knows. Something about skipping through the game and getting weapons early. Doing this cuts out a lot of the time and allows you to complete the game in a very fast amount of time. He said it was really hard to do though. Sorry I can't help anymore.

Don't you think it would be kinda strange to quit the Radio show before Extra Life? Surely if Doc was planning on ending the show he would do it after that, since it is the main source of income for the Extra Life gaming marathon.

Ending it after it would be much better, so then Extra Life would be like 'The Last Hurrah' of Doc and Dave.

I'm psyched. And I'm really glad everyone seems to be excited about it. I feared that people would be all "Lono abandoned us, wah wah wah" about it, but instead, everyone's happy! An even brighter sun is rising for Sarcastic Gamer.

Nothing. It'll stay the same, Lono is just doing two shows now.

Thats some great news. I really missed Lano's personality on the show and RR wasn't doind it for me. This is great!
