After looking at the post from PacManPolarBear about the possible return of Mechwarrior :D it reminded me of the old rivalry I had with mates over the best Mech.

My Best Mech was the Stone Rhino from the ghost bear add-on - it was or is one of the heaviest Mech in the Mechwarrior universe I remember removing all ppc, gauss cannons & missiles & just filling it with Er, Mr, SR, clan lasers it filled every point on the Mech - it only took 1 shot (group fire) to destroy any Mech, I mean any!! no matter what u did you were but a mere insect to my Mech - it's draw back I could only fire once & then it over heated & would shut down & it was the heaviest & also the slowest - but as long as u had good mates to protect me I was fine

Tough one. I changed up my Mech of choice depending on the given situation. I usually went with a medium weight Mech like a Summoner for speed mixed with some AC/MRL's. But when it came to straight up slug fests I would have to say an Archer or Kodiak.

I don't miss elementals one bit. My little brother held the #2 spot almost the entire time (I think it was Mech 3) was online for elementals.

On a side note, I hate the new series of novels.

Is there such thing as a bad mech? I mean, I reckon all mech's are great!

I always Loved the Daishi^^ on CTF Mechs a DAishi filled with lasers and exra heat sinks pretty much made the ultimate defender.

I also love the Madcat/timber wolf for getting all around fighting, and the Vulture's my favorite for long range.

I never played Mechwarrior, but I should have. I played the old school version with miniatures and battle sheets. Do they have the Wolverine in the game? That was my baby. :D

You can pick up MW4 or MW4:Mercs for dirt cheap now and they both still look pretty good and play reallllllly well. Toatally recomend you do so now! ^_^
