I'm kinda glad Jax being a liar got outed BEFORE we all arrived at PAX. With her taking her video camera and telling me they have "plans", I'm not trusting ANYONE... and I'm sleeping with both the deadbolt latched AND a chair wedged against the door... them womens is sneaky! :tongue:

If I know SG, I am 100% sure they're screwing with us about the shows being cancelled and what not. Don't know why people take SARCASTIC gamer announcements that seriously...apart from the Lono one.

Was it just me who thought that Jax was actively mean to Wetmouse. Just kept chopping her down all the time, in fact Jax is rarely that nice to anyone on the show; she gave Venus Envy a pretty hard time too.

Maybe it's just part of her character and part of the show but I felt pretty bad for Wetmouse who I thought did a pretty awesome job.

I know I'll most likely get some flak for being negative but I don't care, somebody had to stand up for the poor guests on this show.

I think Lesley is doing a fantastic job hosting the podcast and taking control in the absence of Harley.

Jax is just protective of Frawlz and myself... Wetmouse clearly said she was trying to sleep her way to the top of SG (mentioning us by name...) Jax is like the alcoholic mother of the SG Staff. This is the one time she's doing things right, so don't YOU go and knock her down like that because soon enough she'll be drunk again and we'll all go back to being drink fetchers and vomit wipers again. :lol:

If you've been listening to the show since the beginning then you KNOW that Jax means no harm... She's just... Jax.

The show works well with the balance between Jax's bluntness and Lesley's kindness, anyways.

And like you said, Jax never holds back on how she feels to other people on the show, so why would she hold back on applicants? If anything, that would just be hindering the process.

I liked the chemistry on this show. Lesley as host with Jax as comic relief seems to work the best. As much as I like Jax's comments, it seems more natural to have Lesley in control of the proceedings. As for Wetmouse, she did great - I'd certainly not mind if she was made the third host.

It's like Cyan said, why should she be any different with the applicants? She's knowledgeable as a gamer, she knows how to enjoy what she's doing, and never one to shy away from speaking her mind. If anyone epitomizes the name "Sarcastic Gamer", I think it's gotta be Jax.

As far as the search for a new host goes, personally I think if they can do it easily enough from a technical standpoint (depending on how they record), what not stick with Lesley and Jax and do rotating guest host slots? Why find a permanent replacement anytime soon? With the guest host option, you'll get a new spin on things with every show, possible cross-promotion (since you KNOW the guests will promote the hell out of their appearance), and hey, if someone comes along during the guest spots who just hits that "sweet spot" in the chemistry of it all, you could always bring them onboard more often (like if one of the other two needed off for an event) or in a fulltime host position later on down the road. It just seems like a good way to expand the show a bit and give a little more of the female take on gaming.

I think your spot on. Sick and wet have both been good hosts and it might be a good idea just having a revolving guest host for a few months. Maybe surprise everyone in the Christmas special (I hope there's one this year) with who the replacement is.

I agree that Lesley sems to flow better as the main hostess person. Sorry if it seems that I pick on people. I like WetMouse and we chit chat all over the internet. People who listen to the show know what they're getting into when they guest host. I'm really not a MEAN person. I just wasn't hugged enough as a child. So remember, hug your children so they don't grow up like Jax. Oh, and always be the mom that throws the keggers in High School.

I started talking with WetMouse a lot myself since the show. Hope she does come back on again soon. Looking forward to this week's, that is, if you're up to it Jax.
