Are there still BF2 fans/players out there still?
Dice released this new patch few days ago, you can get it at usual places like filefront, fileshack, etc. Patch supposedly corrects a lot of things that community wanted for a long time, one of the corrected things is hit detection box, and some dolphin diving corrections.

I haven't got a chance to give it a go but I will soon.

I will download this the moment Black Sand Studios release a version of Project Reality that is compatible. One key thing about the update you forgot to mention is that it will make the expansion packs free!

I remember the good ol' days when the game first came out. Me and my mates went down to a lan centre to play it, and we liked it so much that we bought the game. looks like its time to reinstall this beast. :)

It's cheaper because the expansions are now worth less than the disks they're burnt on.

But you're not getting what I'm saying here, Serpent. Because of BF2 1.5, you know those expansions that come with the all-in-one? Yeah, they effectively become free, thus worth less than the disks they're burnt on. :wink2:
