I've been waiting for this game for quite some time now, and I'm excited it's right around the corner.

This will probably be mine and some others' best chance to get the 4-player achievements, so I'd like to play through career mode during the event.

Since this is Rock Band, we'll need to organize the bands. Post which instrument you would rather play in italics. Also post any instruments you can play if absolutely need be.

I'll be hosting at least one band, and I can jump to and from any instrument.

Time: 7 pm Central (5 pm PST, 8 pm EST, 1 am GMT)

I know that's late for the UK folk, and I apologize. Once I see my full schedule, I'll see about planning an earlier event on Saturday. I'll be playing this all week, so feel free to send me a friend request if you want to play.

Should have it and be off work by then. I'm in. I'll do guitar as well but if I have to do bass that's fine with me.

GH3 controller? :sad: I've never seen or heard of one of those lasting more than a month or two. The Yellow button goes first.

^ its the only controller thats fits well with my hands and this guitar was used but it works fine with GH but just does starpower early its just RB thats a problem. plus the neck doesnt slide like my other one.

I can understand that :) I'm in love with the Mad Catz bass because it fits my hands better than every other guitar on the market (with the exception of the new Hofner Bass, that one feels perfect.) I was just mentioning my worries with the detachable neck. Everyone I know that had one had it stop registering the button presses :undecided:

I always favored the recessed buttons as it makes it easier to slide between notes rather than lift my fingers up on the GH axe. Not to mention I do not like the RB touch pad at all. I'm totally with you there. If it weren't for its broken Whammy bar, I would've always used the RB Strat. I'm not a fan of the GH slider at all, I think it's rubbish, and the RB solo buttons work, but there's no reason to use them except for big finishes. Which I guess makes them 100% more useful than the slider.

Yeah that's how I am with the lower fret buttons on my RB Strat. Only tap them like a madman for the Finishing Bonus. Tried using them for the tap notes on GH5 and it's a pain; they actually make the tap notes WORSE.
What's wrong with your Whammy bar? I had one break on a previous Strat and just used a tight rubber band to fix it.

UPDATE: Has anyone finished all the songs yet? And if so, how many were you able to gold on your selected instrument? (I was able to get 9, guitar and bass combined.)

UPDATE 2: One more thing. If we aren't able to get a drummer then I know someone who also has TB:RB and is one of the top drummers on Live. I can get him to join us.

That actually worked out well. I'm sorry Xgamr and DigIt couldn't join us, but we got a full band together for a bit, then went to 3 for a while. It was fun.

Especially after playing Expert guitar and bass, and considering that a lot of the songs were the equivalent of the 5 Devil rating on RB2, it was really killing my arm.

Indeed. You were with us when we started the career, right? Starting the game with "I Saw Her Standing There" on Expert Bass is a quick way to tire out :lol:
