Taking Multiplayer To The Next Level
Combining the multiplayer action and paint features of Forza Motorsport 3 with one of the most creative gaming communities on the web, the SGRL provides players with a higher level of immersion in the world of professional racing. Real sponsors, podcast coverage and forum based career tracking are just a few of SGRL's innovative features.

Divide & Conquer
The backbone of the SGRL is in the "Division" format. Players of differing time zones, play style or skill level can participate in the same league experience by forming a division of 6 drivers with their LIVE friends or people in the same circumstances. These divisions race amongst themselves for the majority of a season, using a point-based career tracking system put in place by the league.

Occasionally, the SGRL will organize an interdivisional tournament or special event that will bring members of these separate groups together. Also, a division may openly challenge another division during the course of a season.

Sponsorship
Using the paint features in Forza Motorsport 3 and official SGRL provided vinyl groups, players will be able to compete for and represent actual sponsors. The SGRL offers several levels of sponsorship, including our official and community created podcasts, and parody entities.

Podcast Coverage
League performance updates and driver bios will be featured on the SGCP Sportcast, and potentially any of the other weekly podcasts brought to you by Sarcastic Gamer. Take it to the track with your friends and hear your accomplishments discussed as if it were a real sporting event.

Forum Based Career Tracking
Drivers and their divisions will have their performance represented within the SGRL forums, using a point based and graphically enhanced tracking system. Additional features such as signature banners, driver profiles, and paint showrooms bring a more community driven immersion to the experience.

Nice one UDD - sounds great. FM3 is going to be absolutely perfect for something like this, what with the customisation of cars and game types.

Looking forward to seeing some of the comedy sponsors... and, on the Beaver theme, here's a starter for 10....

Kind of excludes everyone who doesn't have a Xbox though.

It's specifically designed around Forza Motorsport 2 and soon 3. Not trying to exclude anyone.... that's just our preference. I'm sure if you'd like to start your own league for Grand Turismo there would be a lot of interest.

Kind of excludes everyone who doesn't have a Xbox though.

Unfortunately, it does. And it's not a matter of preference so much as no other game gives us the tools to pull it off. If Gran Turismo, or even Mario Kart gave us the option to put Sarcastic Gamer logos on our cars, then I'd love to include everyone. It's a shame that's not the case.

However, feel free to run any organized racing on the game and console of your choice in the SGRL World Tour section. That's what I put it there for.

The two top comic makers of our community create two awesome forum events for us to get obsessed with.
