i just picked up a ps3 and wondering what is the best game to get first....i like all games so i just need help with a game til mag comes out

Personally I would pick up Fallout 3(GotY edition is coming out soon), MLB 09 The Show, Uncharted 1 & 2(2 comes out later this month) or any other games from this thread:

Thats basically 6 different genres right there, those games will keepm you occupied for a while, and ofcourse with Uncharted 2 coming out on the 16th you should be fine :D Oh and Ratchet and Clank coming out at the end of this month apparently, or maybe end of next month....who knows

Anyways, I'd say get Rock Band 2, because I need more friends to play with.

Warhawk is must for online play. Killzone 2, MGS4 and Fallout 3 great games too. My advice is buy used, I go through half.com, and save some cash. Also provides an outlet to actually make money on selling games. I tried Hollywood Video once, and they wanted to give $2 for Oblivion 4. I walked out laughing.

yeah i was gonna say, there are TONS of good exclusives and you....picked up Haze......Haze is one of the worst games ever created, like, just behind Resident Evil 5 and Big Rigs....and noone here even suggested it :S

Do yourself three favours though - go and pre-order Uncharted 2 already, buy Valkyria Chronicles (buy it anyway but esp. if you like strategy games) and do NOT be tempted to buy the Punisher game on PSN (although you can now try a demo for free) it's really not that good
