This is for the grifball hub team
http://grifballhub.com/

Help GrifballHub make a difference.

If you're feeling charitable or simply want to get your hands wrapped around a signed replica, check out the information and links below. It's for a great cause and it won't ever explode. (We hope.)

"Grifballhub.com is auctioning off a replica of the N0. 14 Anti-tank Mine, more commonly referred to as the assault bomb from the Halo series, to benefit pediatric cancer research.

The eBay Auction-http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260485622591

The replica was created by Rooster Teeth community member CaptainR3dbeard and has been signed by Rooster Teeth staff Gus, Geoff, Burnie, Ben and Joel as well as Bungie and Grifball.com staff members.

100% of proceeds will be donated to Extra Life - a 24-hour charity gaming marathon aimed at raising money to fight pediatric cancer. If you’d like to donate to Extra Life please visit the GrifballHub Extra Life Campaign.

The auction ends at 9:42 p.m. EST on Friday"

It's amazing how much Extra life has grown since last year in terms of who has recognized the event. Not necessarily who started it though

I just saw that. Whats even better is that a developer like Bungie with such a large fanbase is helping out. I mean the #1 and #2 games on Xbox Live are made by Bungie. Now only to get IW and Treyarch...

Yet they plug everyone except Sarcastic Gamer...
GAHHHHHHH!

Rooster Teeth might as well have founded it.

That's the thing. I love the kids, it just feels like now Doc or anyone else isn't getting any credit. This is the coolest charity event ever, and I wish the core could get some appreciation for the idea, though be thankful for larger communities pushing it to even bigger news sites.

There is a root to extralife.sarcasticgamer.com so that's good enough for us. As long as the kids get help. If we get new members then its just a bonus.

Hello there!

As the person who is the head of the Extra Life efforts at GrifballHUB.com, there is a reason that they plugged Rooster Teeth so much.

Rooster Teeth is the main stay of our community, and we got all of their personnel to sign that replica bomb for us. That is a main draw from all of our donations.

And besides, like mentioned, regardless of WHO is mentioned where, it is getting out there to an entire world worth of people, and it is all going to the same place. This is why it is important. This is all that matters.

Thanks for the notice though! I appreciate it!

EDIT: I've also personally talked to Doc, and there is more to come for GrifballHUB's involvement in Extra Life (Let's just say, Charity Rock Concert.), it just might not happen for a couple months. Stay tuned for more details!
