I totally agree with you guys on DJ Hero and hope that it doesn't sell a lot of copies. How many more rhythm games do we need anyways? Rock Band 2 (and love) is all you need, really.

I think Lono's comparison of Wolfenstein and ODST was pretty solid, though I admit I haven't played either one. I'm interested only casually in ODST, and I might pick it up if I see it in Playswitch sometime in the future.

Forza? No thanks. My video game driving fix is satisfied by tooling around in GTA IV; I don't need some uber-realistic hardcore simulation to have fun driving. In fact, for me, it takes the fun right out of it, thus defeating the entire purpose of a video game in the first place.

DJ Hero looks to be one of the lamest attempts at cash-cowing the whole "band simulation" genre I've seen. I've never played any of the Guitar Hero or Rock Band games, and this certainly won't be the one to break that trend. Part of me wants to see this thing crash and burn like the Hindenburg.

Oh my god guys, I totally geeked out over this episode at work. Thanks for the thanks guys, that made my day. I was having a really crappy time in the office and then I heard my name and it really cheered me up :D

The spec ops mode in Modern Warfare 2 sounds like it's gonna be really great. I hope there's quite a variety of missions and it doesn't flop in that part of the game. Obviously, judging from the trailer on the dashboard, campaign is gonna be EPIC!

DJ Hero doesn't bother me, it's just a cash in, them trying to make more money by dabbling in a music genre that like Lono said is, well minor. It's not a huge draw, atleast not to me or to any of my friends. Or anyone I know. I can't see it selling much at all.

I think your right about DJ Hero, there are a few interesting combinations, but even as someone with a more than casual interest in DJ'ing for the price i'd rather go spend a little more and get a basic DJ deck and do stuff at friends parties. Just plain silly.

MW2 sounds like the spec ops mode will be interesting, looking forward to the potential a lot there.

I really didn't think that Wolfenstien and ODST until Lono compared them....but then again there's about a thousand games that sound like that....like Zelda...or Mario...all those games are about freeing oppressed people where the evil oppressors are exploiting the people for some kind of magical device...or its just the story of Martin Luther King....

It didn't sound like you did, but did any of you play DJ Hero prior to recording this episode? I tried the demo that was set up at Best Buy (so if you wanna try it, get there fast before the controller breaks) and the controller makes sense with only one turntable and three buttons.
