Let's get to know some us a bit better i'm sure some of us have some interesting hobbies! So tell us what you enjoy to do in you free time. Don't say gaming if your hear we all know you like to play games lol.

Anyway for me my hobbies are

Astronomy- Well i do this at uni which i thought would be enough for me to scream and run away from it at every possible chance. I'm not so interested in the whole theory part of it i leave that behind at uni! I do enjoy getting a telescope and just looking up at the stars. Some pretty cool sights unfortunately i live right outside a street light, still managed to get a cool shots of the moon though. Still every few weeks the Astronomy Society at the uni get free run of the observatory! We get some great sights with the main telescope, shame the last time I was up it was way to cloudy :(.

Comics- There funs to make sometimes also a huge pain in the ass at times. the strange thing is i never read comics infact i think i have read 2 in my life (watchmen and the killing joke both fantastic)

Flying- Still learning to fly just now, it's alot of fun not flown in months though serious lack of funds :(

Psychology-Started off since I was finding it hard to read people I decided I should read into it. I haven't done much on this yet just reading through a book it's quite interesting got some pretty cool stuff in it.

Anyway that's my boring stuff I'm sure some of you guys have much more interesting hobbies.

Playing guitar - Well i say playing, I should have said learning to play... I have a nice Yamaha F310 acoustic and a crappy encore electric... I can't play much, but i love it..

Reading Graphic Novels/Comic Books, Extreme Ironing, Listening to Music (Not really a hobby, But i do listen to alot of music.) and erm... I think that's it, That doesn't really seem like alot but i do go out to bars and clubs occasionally ( I wouldn't call excessive drinking a hobby:lol:)

Bowling just started out as something to do during Uni, love going, my mates all got bowling balls before i had met them, but after a year of constant bowling with them, i decided enough was enough and i hated using House balls and shoes, so i got my own Bowling ball, and my own shoes :D I bowl like, a 140 usually, and its only a straight bowl, can't be doing with all the hooking and curving :P

Sailing Love sailing, bit more expensive as a hobby, havent done it for a while, trying to save up to get my own Lazer single man dinghy, but they cost around £2000 as a preowned boat, so yeah. I won the berkshire schools sailing regatta when i was 16! Which was nice...

Gaming Obviously, surprised no one has put this down yet :S i game, i think about gaming, i talk about gaming, i read about gaming i dream about gaming and i make 3d models and animations :D

and some others like warhammer 40k

Video Games- Of course! DS and PC mostly, although there are some cool titles on the iPod Touch that I play as well.

Computer Programming- Experience in C++, C#, VB.Net, ActionScript, ASP.net (more of a web development environment than programming language), HTML (Not really a programming langauge), and brief exposure to a few others. I have a job in web development at the moment, although I hope to break into the game industry for a career.

Game Design- I think up new designs for games while I sleep, eat breakfast, watch movies, play other games...pretty much 24/7. I'm wanting to become a game designer when I graduate from college.

Music- Both playing and listening. I play guitar, harmonica, and a bit of Ukulele, and would love to start or join a band. I enjoy listening to a wide variety of music, but don't like all of any specific genre...mostly bands from within a genre, or certain songs from a few bands.

Audio/Voice Work- I dabble a bit in audio editing, and more people than I can remember have told me that I have a great radio DJ voice. I might turn it into a side job, doing voice work, but I can't see myself going into it as a career.

Collecting Free Crap- If it's free, I'll take it. I'm wanting to make this a more "formal" hobby than just randomly picking things up and keeping them. Candidates for collection so far: Shot glasses, 1" Pins, and dirt.

Sarcastic Gamer- I totally consider this a hobby, if not something much more. I love the site and community, and want to stay here as long as the site exists.

That's Ploogle in a nutshell.

Music: Playing, and listening obviously. I play bass guitar mostly, a little guitar and that's about it to be honest. I'll listen to just about anything, within limits I guess.

Comics: Not so much the collecting side of comics but I really enjoy reading them, and have recently just started getting into it. I read a lot of graphic novels too.

Films: I'm pretty big on my films, about as much as I am into my gaming I'd say.

game design - well, i lie. more like map design. i randomly get ideas for maps in school and end up drawing some plans in the geography lesson of the day (because nobody cares about geography) then create it at home. it is actually my hope to get a career in the games industry, and i have quite alot of knowledge in the subject so hopefully i wont fail.

drumming - im not brilliant but the feeling you get when you get with a group of people and play is awesome.

Gaming - **** yeah.

Parkour - Parkour probably isn't what you think, so hit this link. (http://www.parkourpedia.com)

Drums - I'm sure you guys can figure this one out =D

Brawling - It's a thing we do at school. We've been doing it for about 18 months now. Every lunchtime, we brawl. It's awesome fun when other guys that don't usually do it join in. Today, there were about 20 of us. It's a mix of bare-knuckle brawling, wrestling, and Judo.

Acting - I've been in ads, TV shows, and I've auditioned for the main role in a major Hollywood movie. I lost it by a whisker. There was some other guy who got it. This is what I was told by the producer: "He couldn't act as well as you, but had more of the 'look' that we wanted. Sorry."

Writing - I have an incredible mind for English, so I write massive stories.

Gaming is no.1
And there's also:
Movies: either at home or (preferably) in a cinema.
Music: listening, not making.
Snowboarding: powder runs are what heaven must feel like.
Sleeping (in): lately it's been very difficult to sleep in with a one year old son..
Football (soccer): I like to watch it and play it (small sided 5 vs 5, indoor).
Graphics/Art: it's job related now but it has always had my interest.
Day dreaming.

Music - Playing and listening to. I play the drums and have been for almost 2 years, still not very good because I don't practice nearly enough. As for listening I will listen to just about everything, usually metal or punk though. But when I'm in the mood for it I can listen to any thing.

Longboarding - What I spend most of my time doing, except during the winter(still do not as much though, gotta love parkades). Been doing it for a while now and plan on entering my first race pretty soon. I mostly do dancing or sliding but want to get into some downhill, not too confident racing in groups though.

Skateboarding - Usually what I'll do in my garage while bored during the winter. Also love riding parks with friends.

Gaming - Although I haven't been playing to many games for the last little while I still love to play a few hours of starcraft or halo every once and a while.

Come to think of it... my only hobby is pretty much gaming. I can't remember what else I've done recently, except listen to a ton of music. Y'know, someone my age (14) should probably get out more. And socialize. And stop being an introvert.

Anyways...

Gaming - Xbox 360. DS. Even a bit of Wii, but only the good, hardcore stuff. I've mainly been playing Halo 3: ODST and Shadow Complex, but I've been playing a ton of demos, too. Like, so many demos my 60 gig hard drive is almost filled to the brim. I have 46 gigs of demos and I'm proud of it!

Music - Rise Against. If ANYBODY has actually heard of them and likes them, you're win. If you haven't, go to YouTube, type in "Re-education (Through Labor)" and listen.

I like watching Hockey, but hate playing it. Ice Hockey just seems brutal, not fond of ice sports after seeing some guy trip over at the ice rink in the city I'm near and another person unable to avoid him accidentally went over his fingers, breaking 2, and slicing off 2.

Videogames - I've been a true videogame nerd ever since pong came out. About the only game I play on the PC is WoW, but I also have a PS3, Xbox360, Wii, Nintendo DS and a PSP. Only the PS3 and Xbox360 get any real action, though.
I tend to love RPGs, adventure games and FPSers. I almost never play driving games og beat-em-ups, and NEVER sports games (yuck).

Drawing - I love to draw, both on paper and on my computer. I'm not really good at real anatomy, though I keep trying. I'm more into webcomics though, and have a blog called Gobo's World (http://gobosworld.blogspot.com/) dedicated to it, as well as a DeviantArt account (http://gormash.deviantart.com/).
On the computer I use Photoshop CS2 and a Wacom Graphire 4 tablet.

TV series - A big nut about series. I lov'em. Well, not everyone. Here's a few of the ones I truly enjoy: Dexter, Desperate Housewives, Weeds, Battlestar Galactica, Babylon 5, Big Bang Theory, and many many more.

Martial Arts - Shaolin Kempo mostly, but I have a thing for American Boxing. Been a while since I've done either, but am getting back on track with that soon.

Astronomy - Nothing is more fascinating than staring up into the night sky. And every time I see Jupiter and its gas patterns, or Saturn and its rings through my telescope, it's like I'm seeing them for the first time, every time.

Reading - Mostly non-fiction. And mostly about my other hobbies (or work-related).

Politics - Current affairs, world news, stuff like that. I like to say informed.

Sailing - I live on the coast of Maine, two minutes from the Atlantic, and I have yet to hear a convincing reason to leave it.

Theology - I'm an atheist, but I love to study/read about it from an academic point of view. Comparative theology/mythology, mostly. I got my undergrad in theology and philosophy, and it has since become a hobby.
