Mystic 10-16-2009, 02:57 PM A few weeks ago I asked for ideas for a gamer style photos for a shoot I was doing. I had a lot of great ideas but didn't have the props to get them all done but this is a smattering of what I came up with. Let me know what you think.

This is an excellent shoot, by the way. I do like it more than your ones with the other girl, so keep up stuff like this.

Well, the other girl is my girlfriend so she always helps me out when I need to try out a new idea. Models don't tend to be a reliable lot so scheduling is H*LL.

I mean the first ones you posted. Her name was Ashley (or some weird spelling of it) if I remember right. I'm saying, I like these better than those. I have no problem with your girlfriend. :lol:

It's fall foliage time around here and I wanted to get some good landscapes since it is going to be the most vibrant foliage in a long time due to really rainy June, however I need a new camera since all I got is a mid range cannon point and shoot. I can manual focus and change settings, however I have to use a crappy iPod like wheel to do all the fine tuning so it gets annoying. I takes amazing macro shots but other then that I have to fool around with settings to get a good shot.

For this shoot I used a Canon T1i DLSR with a 24-70 2.8L Lens with a couple slave flashes.

Anyway, you're still a great photographer, so I don't mind anything you do. I just didn't like the first ones of her because they were rather plain with the dark and all. Still better than I can hope to do, though. :lol:
Let us know if when you're doing more. I'm sure we'll all have suggestions.
