Anyway. Seeing as I like Tekken and don't like Street fighter 4, I doubt the new additions to SSF4 will change my opinion much.

Though I doubt I'll buy either outright. They're both probabaly rents, seeing as I'm a fan of Tekken (but haven't seen reason to buy one since 3 and because I want to see if the changes in Street Fighter are substantial enough to make me buy it. I'll make my full decision then.

Nice. I thought there would be more SF supporters. Anyway, ign.com published their Tekken 6 review. It got a 8.8 which is fairly good considering its 0.2 points away from 9.0.

Inaccurate numbers aside, the review itself mentions how the campaign is only a distraction but that the other straight up fighting modes were superb.

I think I am speaking for everyone when I say that people don't buy the game for it's campaign, but for the easy to play, hard yet intriguing to master fighting mechanic. If you are really into it , you will eventually learn all your characters abilities and combos by heart and actually be able to manifest your new found knowledge into a decent strategy plan. Who hasn't smirked when they pulled off a long*** combo according to plan ?

Neither, played Tekken Tag Tournament (PS2) and Street Fighter 4 (PS3), didn't like either, so meh, neither.

tekken 6 definitely. Tekken is the greatest fighter ever. i remember having it on ps1 it was brill then. street fighter is good i have nothing against it but i will buy tekken 6 and rent the other. thats my opinion.

I like how street fighter plays, it is very pure and when you win it's because you're definitely better at it than the other person.

Because I like all of the Street fighter games except for 4. I said I like the Tekken games but not SF4. I said nothing about 1, 2, 3, SSF2THDR, Alpha, Super Duper Alphh Supreme Ultra Plus Delux...etc.

In my eyes: Street Fighter Series minus 4 > Tekken Series > SF4.
I just don't like 4 for some dumb reason.

Super streetfighter 4 hands down. Only because I grew up with street fighter, also I was never that keen on Tekken.

SSF4 isn't out for another 5 months, so get tekken now, and SSF4 later.

Street Fighter 4 is the BEST fighter to be released in years. The rest have really gotten lame lately but SFIV stepped it up. Super will only eexpand and improve upon that

I'm getting tekken 6 from gamefly, and while I am looking forward to it, The only one I will be buying is Super SF4. I loved SF4 (even though my favorite fighting game is soul caliber), but for some reason, SF4 just won me over. Looking forward to new characters to play.

and as for gash, man i hope no one buys "super" street fighter 4 just because its another method of nickle and dimming the consumer! i loved SF3 3rd strike but SF4 felt like they took it a step back with just prettier animations. As for tekken, i've been on the ball since Tekken 3, Tag, 4, 5, 5DR, 5DR online (which was horrible thanks to the crummy lag on ps3) so i plan to pick up T6.
