I am fed up with products coming in clamshell wrapping. They're incredibely difficult to open and I've injured myself many times trying to open these packages and it's getting ridiculous! I had bought a controller once and accidentally cut its cable trying to get the damn thing out of the packaging.

Do you guys suffer the wrath of clamshell wrapping? Does anyone know a good way to get products out without damaging it or myself?

Scissors are my friends.

Cut so there are gaps. Cut down edges of packaging on one side (one side saves aggravation of repeating it, but is still fairly difficult) so folds out, and take out item.

Hell is clamshell packaging. Unnecessary, dangerous, and difficult.

I slightly cut the cable on my xbox wireless adaptor trying to open the damn packaging, thankfully it still worked.

Clamshell Wrapping annoys the shit out of me. There are a couple of ways to open them reasonably easily, though.

Probably an exaggeration, we all know countries don't care nearly as much about watching their nukes as they do their FedEx priority packaging.

But yeah, clamshell packaging is only a step below the Snuggie on my list of things to abolish should I ever become world-leader.

Clamshell packaging. I mean, I get the whole anti-theft thing, but really, I also like having my fingers intact.

Stanley knives are pretty good for getting clamshell wrapping off.
So are nuclear weapons, but a stanley knife will do in a pinch.
