Well I saw the trailer for the new Duke Nukem and decided to reinstall Duke 3D, just wondering about all your thoughts on the game.

It seems like every time there's a new trailer or rumour or whatever released, everyone gets so excited, and then is so let down when they (the company) fail to deliver. It's called Duke Nukem: 'FOREVER' for a reason.

I liked Tomb Raider more.

Ditto, i have been playing it abit lately, brings back some memories. In fact it was probally the first PC game i really played, when i was about 7 years old. Which is worrying considering the games an 18.

Same here, I just remember that first level and the bit that looked like Alien.

I'll bet anything that the new game won't even be out by 2010. They announced the game a LONG time ago (early 2000's) and it still isn't out. My prediction is that it won't ever come out, but I do love the series.

Tease me with even 0.1 seconds of gameplay footage?

Does anyone else remember the old Duke Nukem side scrollers?
Back in the golden days of Shareware you could download and play the first episode or two for free.

That's how I was introduced to Commander Keen, Duke Nukem, Jill of the Jungle (We'll be together someday, Jill.) Epic Pinball, etc.

I loved that game back in the day but I'd be scared to go back and play it. I have a feeling it doesn't live up to the nostalgia.

I bet they're gonna try to get a license for Unreal 3 with Forever. That'll make it take longer :)
